Because it is located in the middle of Nanyue District and zhurong peak, it is ten li up and down.
Historical legend
There is an interesting story about Yiwu Pavilion. It is said that long ago this place was the site of banyun nunnery. It was the only way to go up and down the mountain. The monks of Lushan Temple went down the mountain to buy things and took the burden to return to the temple. They often had a rest here. At that time, a fire monk wrote a poem with the word "half" as the title. He said: "half mountain, half nunnery, half cloud, half mu, half land, half inlay, half hill, half stone, half wall, half sunny day, half wall, half wine, half poetry, half immortal, half Buddha, half house, half cloud, half pine, half piano." When the poem came to the abbot, he was greatly praised. Instead of making him burn a fire, he was given the Sutra and recited it day and night. This poem is quite skillful in antithesis. It uses half a word in every sentence. Its usage is natural and fluent, and its aura is penetrating. There is no drawback of being awkward. Although banyun nunnery has been in existence for a long time, the poetry with the word "banyun" has been handed down to the present day, adding to people's pleasure
Jiang Yiwu
Jiang Yiwu: Commander in chief of Wuchang Uprising
When it comes to the heroes of the 1911 Revolution, people are familiar with the names of Sun Yat Sen, Huang Xing and Song Jiaoren, while Jiang Yiwu, the commander-in-chief of the Wuchang Uprising, is mentioned much less frequently. Jiang Yiwu is from Lixian County, Hunan Province. In January 1911, Jiang Yiwu organized and served as the president of the literature society, a revolutionary group in Hubei new army. Later, he joined another revolutionary group to form the general headquarters of the armed uprising. Jiang Yiwu was elected as the commander in chief, leading the people with lofty ideals to fight a bloody battle, and achieved the success of the Wuchang Uprising.
Jiang Yiwu later served as a military adviser to the Hubei military government and commander in chief after Huang Xing. In 1913, he returned to Hunan to instigate against Yuan Shikai, but failed. Later, he went to Guangxi to continue instigating against yuan. He did not want to be arrested in Quanzhou. In October of the same year, he was killed in Guilin, only 29 years old. Sun Yat Sen later spoke highly of Jiang Yiwu's "Wuchang Uprising in 1911, with public service as the top.". In 1921, Sun Yat Sen went out of the Northern Expedition and ordered a monument to be built at the place where Jiang Yiwu died, with the title of "the place where the founding father Jiang Yiwu died". Among Sun Yat Sen's titles to many revolutionary martyrs, only Mr. Jiang Yiwu enjoys the honor of "founding father of the country"!
