Collection
In March 2016, in order to build a logistics park, archaeologists carried out routine archaeological exploration in Shuangyuan village, Dawan street, Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu. Unexpectedly, we found the boat coffin tombs from the spring and Autumn period to the Warring States period.
Among the funerary objects unearthed this time are a large number of bronzes, pottery, lacquer wood and jade. Among them, there are more than 540 bronzes unearthed, which are well preserved and exquisitely decorated, including weapons, containers, tools and ornaments. In addition, eight seals, more than 40 pieces of lacquer wood with exquisite shapes and bright colors, and more than 500 pieces of pottery were unearthed. Rice, melon seeds, peach stones and other crops were also found in some utensils.
These bronzes are stored in the Qingbaijiang District Museum. They are tripod, pot, dun, handrail (m ó U), Ge, Yue (Yu è), sword, spear, Jin, chisel, saw, and chisel. They are various in variety, beautiful in shape, gorgeous in pattern, exquisite and tasteful. People can appreciate the rich and colorful ancient Shu culture.
One of them is a bronze one. Most of the lid and body are decorated with flat patterns. The hand, ear and foot are made of openwork and relief. It is very exquisite. It can be seen that the manufacturing technology at that time is exquisite. There are two bronze daggers, which are respectively painted with exquisite dragon and tiger reliefs, vividly depicting a "dragon and tiger fight"; there is also a set of about 4cm long, quite refined various kinds of copper knives and other small and micro appliances.
