Zixia palace in Leshan, Sichuan Province, one of the birthplaces of Taoism in China, has beautiful scenery, surrounded by mountains and water. It is the geomantic treasure of the turtle cave and lotus. Here: "there are green mountains in the north, water in the south, green dragons in the East and white tigers in the West.".

Introduction of architectural pattern

1、 Qingshankao in the north, bingshuizhao in the south. The Sanqing palace, which has been built in Zixia palace, is just sitting on the line of the middle pillar of the meridian. It is a valley. Facing south from the north, the back (North) is the hillside with flourishing trees. The mountain is solid and thick, and the pine is tall and straight. It is the most ideal backer. In front (in the South) the Ming hall is open. 500 meters away, you can see the mountains on the left and right bank facing each other layer by layer, forming the trend of worshiping the Lord. Further on, 1000 meters away is the beautiful Minjiang River, which is a vast area with three rivers converging at the downstream. Therefore, the Fengshui pattern of "managing people and money in mountain areas" and "having Bingshui in the South" should be adopted. 2. There are green dragons in the East and white tigers in the West. On the left side of Sanqing Hall (East), the mountains are beautiful and the vegetation is full. A vigorous green dragon naturally goes down. The dragon head extends to the Southeast (xungua). Where the dragon head goes is Bishan Lake. The lake is not sold in the four seasons, and it is clear. The so-called "dragon water" is precious. If there is water, it is a beautiful dragon, and if there is no water, it is a dead dragon. There is no doubt that this is a real dragon. On the right (West) side of Sanqing hall is the white tiger mountain range, which is just lower than the foot of Qinglong mountain on the left. However, the soft soil and lush vegetation conform to the geomantic combination of "only the green dragon is allowed to be tall, and the white tiger is not allowed to look up". 3. Feitian Pavilion (pagoda) is in the position of Qian, and it is in the upper Bureau. Qian is heaven and Kun is earth. In the eight trigrams, "Qian" is heaven, leader, monarch and reverence. Feitian Pavilion (pagoda) is in this position. It is protected by the sand of dragon and tiger. It is quiet and elegant. It is a perfect place to store wind and gather Qi. In fact, it is the best and supreme cave in the world. For the dead in this place, their souls can rest in peace forever, and their descendants can be blessed for thousands of years. 4. The lotus turtle cave has a panoramic view of the bird in the sky. The surrounding mountains are surrounded by layers of protection and embracing, forming a natural lotus shape. In the stamen, a tortoise looks up to the sky, head south and tail north. The Feitian Pavilion (pagoda) is just built on the shoulder of the tortoise, which is an excellent picture of geomantic omen. As an old saying goes, "the most famous mountain monks in the world" refers to that most of the good geomancy in the world have been chosen by monks to build temples. The author believes that Zixia palace is one of the natural geomancy bureaus that are not artificially arranged. The fengshui of the Forbidden City (now the Forbidden City) in Beijing, although there are Qingshan in the north and Bingshui in the south, facing the south, is located in the plain. At that time, for the sake of a reasonable Fengshui pattern, a backer (Jingshan Park) was built artificially. Introduction to the author

The author is now a disciple of Yuan Zhihong, vice president of China I Ching Association and Secretary General of China Taoist Association. Recovery and reconstruction

On August 18, the Zixia palace in Leshan, the ancestral hall of the Western sect of Chinese Taoism, was officially restored and rebuilt with the approval of Leshan Municipal government. Zixia palace was first built in Xianfeng Period of Qing Dynasty. It was once a holy land of Taoism in history. Zixia palace is the ancestral court of the west school. Li Hanxu, the first ancestor of the west school, was a Taoist in the Qing Dynasty. He is known as the founder of the west school of Danding. Taoist priest Li Hanxu was born here because of the different Fengshui cauldrons in Zixia palace. He built ancestral temples, molded statues, created gods' names and compiled nerves, which made Zixia palace famous for a time. By the late Qing Dynasty, it had a large and complete scale.

Due to many historical reasons after the founding of the people's Republic of China, only a part of the main building of Zixia palace remains, namely the activity place of Zixia Palace: three brick houses, about 200 square meters. The reconstruction project of Zixia palace in Leshan City is under the jurisdiction of Tongjiang Town, Leshan City. It is located 1.5km away from the West foot of Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Within the scenic area of Bishan lake, it is 2.5km away from the central urban area, 30km away from Mount Emei and 130km away from Chengdu, with convenient transportation.

After reconstruction, the Zixia palace will cover a total area of 33500 square meters, with a planned total area of 6500 square meters. The investment in the first phase of the project is about 80 million yuan. The first phase of the project will be completed in two years. The reconstructed Zixia palace has an unprecedented scale. Its architectural style and cultural connotation will continue the tradition of the peak period of Taoism in song and Tang Dynasties, and its social functions will be more perfect.

As an important pole of Leshan and even Sichuan Taoist tourism culture circle, the reconstructed Zixia palace will play an important role in the construction of a new concept of Leshan religious tourism culture circle. It will certainly promote the economic development of tourism, catering, hotel, culture and other industries in Leshan, and promote the economy of Leshan to a new level.
