Longmen square

Longmen square, located at the foot of Zhenshan Park in Jiaocheng Town, the political and cultural center of Jiaoling County, covers an area of 16000 square meters. It is integrated with the expanded Jiaoling middle school stadium, with a total area of 36000 square meters.

Jiaoling County Square

Jiaoling has a dragon landscape in the East, West, North and south, especially from the "County Longgang" winding down from Zhangkeng pen to the square. The facilities in the square are extended by the dragon, so it is called "Longmen square". The gate of the square is composed of two dragon pillars with a diameter of 1.2 meters and a height of 4.9 meters. From afar, it looks like two giant dragons taking off, presenting good luck and harmony. There is a wide performing stage in the front of the square. On both sides of the stage, there is a Jiulong opera tower. The spirit of the dragon and the spirit of the Oriental dragon of the Chinese nation emerge spontaneously. On the east side of the square are the buildings symbolizing the hometown of Hakka culture. In the middle of the square is the "Hakka mother" with her son in her arms. The buildings are 2.9 meters high. There are also the number one men and women, male left and female right, both 2.1 meters high. They are wearing doctor's clothes, wearing doctor's hat and holding the degree certificate. They symbolize that Hakka people advocate culture, like reading poetry, forge ahead with determination, culture is continuous and there are successors. To the west of the square, there are twelve stone sculptures of Chinese zodiac in traditional folk culture, which are lifelike and arranged in order, full of strong national culture.

In the evening, Longmen square is ablaze with lights. The old people are walking leisurely, the children are playing, and the women are dancing with the music of joy. The whole square is very lively. The sound of music and children's laughter reverberate in the square, which makes people feel excited.

There is Xiong Delong Stadium (Jiaoling middle school playground) in the back. People who run, exercise and play in the grass become a scenery of the square. The total length of the runway is about 400 meters, and there are five sand pools around it. Children can be seen playing in the sand 365 days a year. Jiaoling middle school sports venue is more lively.

There is also a stage in the northeast of the gate of Longmen square. Children skating on it can be seen everywhere at ordinary times. In major festivals, lights and decorations will be installed here to turn it into a big stage. The basement of the stage is equipped with dressing room, toilet, power distribution room, changing room, etc. There are fountain on both sides of the stage. When the fountain sprays water, it's beautiful!

The whole square extends to the office building of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government in the north, the mobile company building in the south, the radio and television building in the west, and the office building of the national people's Congress in the East, covering a total area of 40000 square meters, including 18000 square meters of green space. It consists of the main square, the municipal Party committee square, the municipal government square, and the urban road It consists of four parts.

Longmen main square covers an area of 17000 square meters, including 5000 square meters of green area and 12000 square meters of pavement area. The south is the main entrance and exit, and the northeast and northwest have two secondary entrances and exits respectively. In the center of the main square, the music program-controlled fountain is 24 meters in diameter, with 897 sprinklers, 613 underwater lights, 6 types of water, including variable frequency spring, direct current spring, fireworks spring, arched spring, running spring and central column, and 12 pieces of selected music. The first landscape climax of the landscape sequence along the north-south axis is composed of music program-controlled dry fountain and large granite pavement site. The north end of the north-south axis is the main stage, which is composed of six parts: stage, sculpture, colonnade, waterscape engineering, relief and stone carving. The maximum length of the main stage is 45 meters from north to South and 75 meters from east to west. The stage is 1.35 meters high and consists of red granite steps, countertops and barrier free channels. It can be used as a landscape carrier and the best scenic spot, as well as a comprehensive stage to meet the needs of various performance activities. In the main stage, in the north, there are 8-meter-high stainless steel carp sculptures and 8.8-meter-high and 48 meter wide white marble colonnades arranged in an arc, which constitute the design theme of the square "fish leaping over the dragon's gate" and serve as the focus of sight of the square. On the East and west sides of the main scene are two groups of white marble reliefs with a height of 25 meters and a width of 10 meters. On the outer wall of the pool in the main part of Taipei, black granite with a height of 1 meter and a width of 36 meters is inlaid, on which characters and figures are engraved, recording the historical development of Hejin and the grand event of building Longmen square. Waterscape engineering is the essence of the dynamic landscape sequence of the main stage. It fully embodies the concept of humanism and the concept of hydrophilicity. It mainly includes 4 parts: waterfall, overlapping water, Panlong water spitting and program-controlled fountain. The square of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government each covers an area of 6000 square meters. It is mainly planted with trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses, dotted with rocks, artificial bionic plants, etc., and equipped with gorgeous lights. It forms a green artistic landscape atmosphere full of lushness and vitality, which is in sharp contrast with the main square. The East and west of the square are respectively equipped with a group of 25 meter high pole lights for lighting. People can read books and newspapers in the square at night. There are 27 courtyard lights on the sidewalk. The four groups of gorgeous decorative lights at the main entrance are magnificent, the four groups of colorful Chinese trees on both sides change strangely, the floor lights in the main square are like stars, the artistic arrangement of lawn lights gives people vitality, and the two 36 meter rose laser lights rotate back and forth. The gorgeous lights add more charming colors to Longmen square in the night.
