Land and Nature Museum

Land and nature museum, a professional museum in Macao. In the early 1990s, it was set up by the island city hall. The total area is 614 square feet. It is divided into two exhibition halls and five exhibition areas to introduce Macao's geography, climate, trees, farming tools, plant seeds, local animal and insect specimens, etc. There are more than 300 items in the collection. We mainly receive students from primary and secondary schools in Macao. We hope that through the visit and explanation, students can understand the early farming, insect and plant ecology in Macao.

Development history

Located in shipaiwan country park, the land and nature museum is a lively and interesting classroom with teaching guidance function. About one third of them are indoor pavilions.

architectural composition

The land and nature museum is located in the Shek Pai Wan country park of the Macao Special Administrative Region. It is the first museum on the island. There are five exhibition areas in the two venues of the land and nature museum. The contents of the exhibition areas are: Macao's physical geography, past farming tools, farmers' labor situation, animal and plant specimens and medicinal plants. The introduction of the exhibition area is mainly in words (in Chinese and Portuguese), pictures, specimen models and objects. There are audio-visual equipment for visitors to use.
