Historical reasons
Zhaobi mountain includes two connected peaks, the West Peak is high and the East peak is low. As early as the chongjia period of the Ming Dynasty, Xishan temple was built, named "Xiangbao Temple", "ZHAOBISHAN Temple", "Pingshan Temple", also known as "Bini Temple". "Bini" means discipline in Sanskrit. It is the only law temple in Guiyang, so it has this name. The temple was rebuilt in the reign of emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty. The temple is small in scale. It is built according to the mountain situation, with palisades and corridors, and the Vatican Palace. On the top of the mountain, there are seven main halls and three pagodas in Guanyin hall. Behind the main hall, there are three zhunti halls, as well as guest rooms, Sengfu, Zhaitang and other auxiliary buildings. There are eighteen Arhats on both sides of the main hall. There is an ancient bronze mirror and a bronze ox in the Central Plains of the temple, with a diameter and length of more than two feet. According to the legend of the temple monk and the old man, "the bronze mirror can reflect people's past life", and the faithful men and women with stockings can watch the mountain climbing. Shen Tongsu, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, sneered in rebuilding Zhaobi mountain temple: "ten thousand li ascended to the Kangzhao mirror, was this mountain monk in his previous life?" There is a long corridor outside the hall, overlooking from the railing, the mountains are surrounded by arches, the changes of the morning and evening are beautiful, which makes people feel relaxed and afraid. On the left side of the main hall of Buddha, there is a cave named "Biyun". The cave is narrow, about two meters high and cold. It is said that this cave is a place for Buddhist dharma. In addition, on the platform of Xishan Mountain, there are three pagodas in the hall, worshiping the statue of Baozheng of Song Dynasty.
From afar, Zhaobi mountain is like a picture screen and a boat with sails to sail. During the spring and Autumn Festival, visitors are like weaving. Poets and poets have always left many questions here. Wu tingframe, Zhu Wen, Zou Yigui, Wang Benyu, Zheng Zhen and others all have poems about visiting Zhaobi mountain. There are many records in local chronicles. These poems not only have certain literary appreciation value, but also are important historical materials for studying the history of Guiyang. At present, the stone wall above Biyun cave also carries the Qingjun book "Xiangbao Liuyun", and the other is the book "Qianyang Banbi" written by Zhao Dechang, the governor of Guizhou Province in Xianfeng Period, which is as big as Dou and is clear and conspicuous.
