geographical position
Located in Liaodong Bay, Tianqiao Town, 35 kilometers south of the city, is an island connecting land in the offshore. The island is 1.5 km long from north to South and 0.8 km wide from east to west, with a total area of about 1 square km and an altitude of 78 meters.
There are three peaks on the island, which are shaped like a penholder. There is also a small penholder mountain in the eastern sea, which corresponds to the distance, so it is called dabijia mountain. It is 1.8 km across the sea from the north bank to dadajiashan. There is a natural pebble passage connecting the island and the land, commonly known as "Overpass". This overpass, with the rise and fall of the tide, is a wonderful sight. When the tide falls, the sea water will slowly recede to both sides, and the passage will emerge like a meandering dragon in the sea; when the tide falls, the "Overpass" will be fully exposed, leading to the mountain. Visitors can climb up the island along this section of gravel road. When the tide rises, the sea water attacks the "Overpass" from both sides, and the "Overpass" narrows gradually in the waves until it is completely hidden. On dabijia mountain, there are Lu Zuting, Wumu palace, Sanqing Pavilion and other ancient buildings. The main building is the Sanqing Pavilion, 26 meters high. The six storey stone building is composed of pure stone walls, stone corridors, stone doors, stone windows, stone niches and stone ladders. Even the cornices and door god murals are all carved in stone. The location, layout and decoration of the palace and attic are ingenious in design and fine in combination, changing in symmetry and connecting in dispersion, which can be regarded as the best of the pavilions. Especially the stone carving of the door, the knife is exquisite, the texture is lifelike, open and close freely. The whole building not only has the traditional artistic style, but also absorbs the characteristics of western ancient architecture. There are 43 white stone Buddhas in the pavilion, which are dedicated to Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism.
Features of scenic spots
Bijia mountain, commonly known as Tianqiao mountain, is about 35 kilometers away from Jinzhou City in the north, with an altitude of about 200 meters. Three peaks stand in front of each other, middle high and two low. It is shaped like a penholder, so it is named as one of the eight scenic spots in Jinzhou. When the tide comes, there is water on all sides and the tide recedes. Between the coast and the foot of the mountain, there is a stone beach more than 30 meters wide and 1.75 kilometers long, strong like a long dike, commonly known as "Overpass".
In Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, China, there is a mountain that looks like a shelf for pens. What makes this mountain different is that it looks like an island, but in fact it has a magical "Overpass" that connects it with the land. This time, I'd like to share with you the style and charm of the island.
Bohai Sea is the largest inland sea in China. Bijia mountain is located in Jinzhou Bay. In the vast sea, if you want to find the key to Bijia mountain, you must enter the life of Bijia mountain people. During the peak tourist season, the Yangko team organized by Bijia mountain people will show you the "Bijia style" with cheerful songs and dances to welcome your arrival.
At the gate of Bijia mountain, there is a red top lighthouse. You can see the whole picture of Bijia mountain from above.
Dajishan is located in the south of wangjiawobao, southwest of Jinxian County, Liaoning Province. There are three peaks juxtaposed, high in two low, cliffs, such as penholder shape, so its name.
When the tide goes up, the sand dike is submerged. When the tide goes back, the sand dike is exposed to the sea. It is 1.75 km long and more than 30 meters wide. It is commonly known as "Overpass". It can be used for transportation and walking. "Penholder inserted into the sea" has become one of the eight scenic spots in Jinzhou.
The original buildings in the late Ming Dynasty on dabijia mountain were destroyed later. The existing buildings were built in the Republic of China, mainly including Lu Zuting, Wang Mu palace, Sanqing Pavilion, Wanfo hall, etc. There are more than 200 white marble statues in the ten thousand Buddha Hall.
In the south of the main peak, there are some scenic spots such as yiyitian, Ma'an bridge and tiger cave. In the north peak, there is a human tower. At the north end of the overpass, to the west of the coast, there is elephant trunk mountain. At the foot of the mountain, there is elephant trunk cave. On both sides of the cave are natural baths. During the western Liaoning war, Hong Chengchou, the governor of Jiliao in the late Ming Dynasty, had been planting grain on this island, and there was a saying of "accumulating twelve piles of millet". There are still relics to be found.

Historical review
There are many cultural relics and historic sites in Bijia mountain, including more than ten classics such as court, hall, palace, temple and pavilion. The Sanqing Pavilion on the peak of Bijia was built in the late Qing Dynasty, but it has a unique architectural style - its building materials and granite (without a nail and a board). When you visit the pavilion, you will feel the intelligence of the architect. The buildings and sculptures in the pavilion are full of the characteristics of ancient Chinese culture. The stone architectural features of sanqingge can be called a classic. The pavilion, 26.2 meters high, is divided into six levels, in which the statues of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are worshipped. We also use the rare statue of Pangu.
The existing buildings were built in the Republic of China, mainly including Lu Zuting, Wu Mu palace, Sanqing Pavilion, Wanfo hall, etc. In the south of the main peak, there are some places of interest, such as yiyitian, Ma'an bridge, tiger cave and so on. In the north peak, there is a human tower.
At the end of the overpass, to the west of the coast, there is elephant trunk hill. At the foot of the hill, there is elephant trunk cave. The sea water flows through, like a giant elephant drinking the sea. The beaches on both sides of elephant trunk cave are stable, which is a natural bathing place.
In the war of Liaoxi in the late Ming Dynasty, Hong Chengchou, the general capital of Jiliao, once hoarded grain on the island. He was defeated and was captured by the Qing soldiers. Up to now, there are still traces on the island.
When the tide recedes, people can climb Bijia mountain. Because the only "Overpass" that connects Bijia mountain with the land only shows up in front of tourists when the sea water completely retreats. This is a road made entirely of pebbles. It is precisely because she rises and falls with the tide that people call her "Overpass". There is also a myth about the formation of the "Overpass": it is said that two nine heavenly fairies came to the world from heaven. When they came to Bohai Bay, they lived and walked together. They were moved by the scenery and the simple people's feelings here and created the "Overpass". Geologists have analyzed the formation of this "Overpass" and summarized it into three natural conditions: first, there are islands in the sea, and the direction of the island is just along the direction of the tide rise; second, the semidiurnal tide, which rises twice a day; third, the more necessary geographical conditions. The rocks in this mountain are easily weathered. After natural erosion, the tidal fluctuation force is balanced to form such a "Overpass" "Bridge". The overpass is 1620 meters long and 27 meters wide. Even if the tide recedes completely at the end, the tourists can't wait to wade forward.
Bijiashan island and "Overpass" are the main scenic spots in Bijiashan scenic spot, which can be roughly divided into five areas: Island Tour, sea sightseeing, shore entertainment, beach bathing and vacation cultivation. The total area is 8 square kilometers, including land area of 4.72 square kilometers and sea area of 3.28 square kilometers. Here beautiful landscape, beautiful environment, rich resources, life service facilities, convenient transportation.
Sanqingge is the representative of the ancient buildings on the island. Because of its six layers of stone imitation wooden structure, not a nail a wood and civilization. There are 48 statues of Buddha worshipped in the pavilion, which are vivid and lifelike. On the sixth floor, Pangu's, the God of creation in myth, is worshipped. It is the first of all gods in the world and is rare in China.
In recent years, Bijiashan scenic area has stepped up its construction efforts, including square expansion, seaside park, road reconstruction and other infrastructure construction. At the same time, large-scale publicity has improved the popularity of the scenic area. It receives nearly one million tourists every year. It is a multi-functional, high-grade and civilized tourist resort integrating tourism, shopping, entertainment, eating, living and behavior.
