Jinbianxi Grand Canyon

Jinbian river is named for its flow through Jinbian rock. It is 5700 meters long and runs through the cliffs and peaks. The valley has luxuriant vegetation and the water is clear all the year round. It is known as "Landscape Gallery" and "fairyland on earth". There is a poem praising: "clear water, green mountains, mountains like a picture screen, people like immortals, immortals if walking in the picture, step by step, look at a heavy sky.".

Basic introduction

Jinbianxi, located in the east of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, is named after jinbianyan. The pipa River in the West and Suoxi River in the East is a deep and winding valley. Surrounded by green peaks on both sides of the Strait, the stream flows around the peak and across the gorge, and goes down the Shiban trail. The best scenic spots are jinbianyan, Zicao pool, Qianli meeting, TIAOYU pool, etc.

Jinbianxi enjoys the reputation of "the most beautiful grand canyon in the world". Sure enough, the 7.5-kilometer-long Grand Canyon is full of beautiful scenery, which makes people dizzy, never tire of seeing and never forget to return.

The jinbianxi River in the Grand Canyon flows ceaselessly. The river is formed by the confluence of hundreds of springs in the mountains. Some of the springs are gushing, some are bubbling, some are flowing between the cracks, and some are seeping under the cliff. The "longevity spring" on the roadside is overflowing with fresh water.

Yingbin rock

More than 400 meters northeast of the collapse. A peak like a giant, facial features, hands buckle chest, smile slightly open, said welcome rock. On the right, a cliff stretches across the sky. The top of the cliff is covered by green bushes. The shrubs on the wall hang upside down, like a screen, which is called boudoir rock. The two "rocks" set off each other in the shape of a door, which means that the boudoir door has just opened, meaning that the beautiful lady who is "raised in the boudoir" has opened the boudoir door to welcome the guests.

Reflection of boudoir

About 50 meters before entering the park gate, you can see a row of stone peaks more than 200 meters southeast like screens, about 200 meters high. The peaks are uneven, with green pines. The peak wall is clustered with green trees, or the red rock is exposed. More than 20 meters ahead, there is a 0.4 hectare pond on the right. The water surface is calm and clear as a mirror. All the peaks are reflected in the water. The danyan is smoky and the floating clouds are long. The ground and the bottom of the water reflect each other.

Mother and son peak is about 200 meters eastward along the stream. On the left bank, there is a thin stone peak about 10 meters high, standing in the gap between the peaks. It looks like a middle-aged woman. Her head and waist are well-defined, and her facial features are indistinguishable. She is kind and dignified. She looks southeast and looks forward to her husband's return. A small peak close to its front, like a son nestled in his mother's chest, facing his mother, childish.

Hematite

More than 200 meters eastward from the mother and son peak, a peak on the south side of the stream rises, about 350 meters high. It looks like a cone column, standing upright on a solitary pole, soaring up to Xiaohan, magnificent and extraordinary. The three sides of the rock peak are cut like knives, and the lines on the wall are straight and angular. It is said that the first emperor of Qin took the whip to drive the mountain to fill the sea. At this point, the chicken crowed at dawn, but the mountain did not move, so the gold whip was left here to form the rock. Looking up at the river bank more than 60 meters northeast of the peak, the color of the peak changes several times in a day: at dawn, the peak is dark brown under the line of smoke and clouds; at noon, the sun is direct, and the smoke is golden; at evening, the sun is smeared, and the peak surface is red; at clear night, the moon is bright, and the peak body is silvery. In case of misty rain, the peak is faintly floating, like the sky reaching the pillar. According to Yongding county annals written by Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, it was "the most excellent spectacle in the history of Xiaohan, with clear and bright snow.". About 50 meters away from the rock, a pavilion with red paint and painting is built across the stone bridge, which is the best place to view the rock. There is a "longevity well" under the pavilion, which is as clear as a mirror.

Eagle whip

On the left side of jinbianyan, there is a peak like an eagle. His head is high, his mouth is hooked, his wings are half spread, and he stands close to the Golden Whip rock. He seems to want to fight with the invaders of the Golden Whip, which is called the divine eagle guard whip.

Drunk arhat

Standing on the slope, it is more than 200 meters high. Generally thick and thin, the peak is round and red in color. It inclines to Jinbian river at an angle of 70 degrees. It looks like a drunken arhat. If you want to pour it, it seems that you are not drunk. It is humorous. Peng Zhichen, a scholar of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, wrote the word "Zhong" on the peak wall. In the fourth year of Daoguang reign of Qing Dynasty (1824), Peng Zhi, a Gongsheng, wrote Bi Zhong Ji to show his success. The "Zhong" house was destroyed due to the collapse of mountains and rocks. The records are kept in the local chronicles.

Learning from the West

In the valley on the east side of jinbianyan, the stone peaks and walls are interwoven, and the big and small peaks are scattered. The right peak protrudes from the North like a long mouth and a pig like Bajie; the two peaks are juxtaposed, the big one looks like a monk Sha and the elegant one looks like a monk Tang; a peak on the cliff in the distance looks like the monkey king; the next group of small peaks look like monkeys.

Cut the mountain to save my mother

To the east of zuiluohan peak, there are a group of stone peaks, some like lamps, some like spears, some like long handled axes, some like dogs crouching. At the top of the peak in the middle, it is split into two petals. If it is split by a sharp axe, it is similar to that in baoliandeng.

Wenxingyan

300 meters to the east of pitayama, a huge peak stands in the north of the stream. The upper part is like a relief of human face, facing the northeast. It has a thin face, a wide forehead, short legs, prominent cheekbones, a bulging nose and thick lips, and looks up at the sky, which is similar to Lu Xun's quiet conception. General Secretary Jiang Zemin said, "it's like Gorky, too.".

Huaguo Mountain

It is located at the entrance of Jinbian stream, where the stream level is gentle and the river bed is relatively open. A waterfall slopes down from the high mountain. The TV series journey to the west takes this place as the location of Huaguo Mountain.

Shuanggui Tanxi

At the east end of wenxingyan, the top of a stone pillar with a diameter of about 10 meters and a height of about 25 meters in the roadside forest overlaps two giant tortoise like stones with a slightly arched back and stripes on it. The probe extends its foot and jumps to jinbianxi.

Zicaotan

It is located in the middle reaches of Jinbian river. The original name is zhicaotan, which is famous for the local paper made by mountain people in Qing Dynasty. Along the bottom of the pool are purplish red rocks. The pool is about 5 meters long, 4.5 meters wide and 2 meters deep. At the upper end of the pool, the stream is turbulent, with sound like strings and snow-white water like jade. The water in the pool is calm and clear, with fish and shrimp swimming in it. The Bank of the pool is shaded by the sun, the dangerous rocks and cliffs are clustered, and the green peaks and white clouds are reflected in the pool. The edge of the pool is a large purple stone slab with a slope. When you sit or lie on it, you can only feel the breeze coming, the birds singing in the valley, the flowing water flowing in the valley, and the shadow of the pool.

Sannan Baoshi

In the middle reaches of Jinbian River, there is a huge rock on the side of the road, about 5 meters high and 5 meters wide. One end of the rock is planted on the side of the river, and the moss is overgrown; the upper part is flat, and the vines are clumped. Among the stones, three elm trees with a diameter at breast height of about 15 cm each stand in Yuli, with luxuriant branches and leaves, each stretching out three or four thick roots, more than 2 meters long. From top to bottom, they are strong and strong, holding the boulder tightly. Whisper, pour out the separation.

Joyous tree

On the roadside 500 meters east of Qianli Xianghui peak, there is a Phoebe tree about 7 meters high and 20 cm in diameter at breast height. Its trunk is divided into two branches 50 cm above the ground, and then the two branches are combined one meter up, seamless and luxuriant.

Secluded Gorge

About 250 meters to the east of Ganli meeting, there are dozens of green peaks encircling a valley more than 200 meters long and 30 meters wide. In the valley, the peaks are arranged like a screen, row upon row, and the relative height is more than 200 meters. The peak body is either danyan smoky, or shrubbery, or ancient pine hanging high. The valley is quiet, and the clear stream is overflowing. There are monkeys climbing, horned pheasants crowing, a stone hit the water, four walls echo. Chaoyang shoots three or five silver lights from the gap between the peaks, like a long sword piercing into the valley and old forest. In case of rain, fog around the cloud cover, a mirage.

Tiaoyutan

More than 400 meters down from the secluded gorge Wonderland, the first-class stream fell into a pool of about 20 square meters and 2 meters deep. The pool water is clear and the stream rocks are ruddy. Beside the pool lies a huge square stone with a height of 2 meters and a width of 2 meters. There are two Phoebe trees in Shibian, one is upright with a mushroom crown, and the other is curved with a big umbrella crown. Looking down from the stone, you can see white fish, black carp and spotted fish swimming in groups. When the peach blossom floods in spring or summer, swimming fish jump 70 or 80 cm from the water, or float or fly, such as falling in a riot of colors.

Luotuofeng

On the upper right of the lower reaches of Jinbian River, several peaks are arranged from top to bottom, like a camel descending the mountain. The two humps are towering, and the green trees on the humps are like camel hair. A camel Pavilion and a viewing platform are built along the stream.

The legend of jinbianxi

"Long drought keeps flowing, long rain keeps green." this is the saying of kuajinbianxi in Zhangjiajie. You see, it's like a jade belt that runs through the gorge of fifteen Li. Where it flows, it will have fresh flowers, green grass and green trees. Even the younger generation and younger sister of Tujia on both sides of the Strait are very smart. People say that the water color is good.
