Sichuan Museum is the largest comprehensive museum in Southwest China. It was founded in March 1941 and changed its name from "West Sichuan Museum" to "Sichuan Museum" in 1952. Sichuan Museum is divided into 10 exhibition halls on three floors, among which the most distinctive are the two Han Dynasty pottery and stone art museums on the first floor and Zhang Daqian's paintings on the second floor. If you have enough time, you can also recommend the Bashu bronze Museum and Ceramics Museum on the second floor and the Tibetan Buddhist heritage museum on the third floor.
Visitors with children can experience the pleasure of making rubbings by hand in the second Museum of taoshiguan from 14:30 to 15:30 on Sunday.
