Xuanyuan peak is located in Beihai scenic area of Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province. It is located in the northeast of Huangshan Mountain, adjacent to Confucius peak and Feilong peak. It is one of the 36 peaks with an altitude of 1664 meters.

There is Shenxian cave at the waist of the peak and Fugu Temple site at the foot of the peak. The surrounding scenery is profound and charming. There is the source of Zizhi at the foot of the peak. It is said in zhoushuyiji that Ladi often picked Zizhi from the source for alchemy, and it still grows today. There are also places of interest such as Ziyun River and DiCui lake.
