Junzhang ancient road

Junzhang ancient road is located in the hilly hinterland on the East Bank of Meiliang lake, Binhu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It has a history of hundreds or even thousands of years. It is the only way for mountain people to travel before the appearance of highway in the 1970s. The main road is paved with stones, about three feet wide; the auxiliary road is slightly narrow, clear and distinguishable.

With the development of highways, the role of ancient roads has been weakened day by day, and they are mostly buried in the weeds and shrubs for a long time. But there are still some sections, such as Jinxiang Road, where Buddhist believers are still obliged to work every year to cut weeds and keep the road clear.

Junzhangshan, the main peak, was called junjiangshan in ancient times. However, the two words "Jun" and "Jiang" have the word "Shan" beside them. They are not included in Xinhua Dictionary and can not be found in the computer font. It is said that more than 700 years ago, the Mongolian army chased and killed the remnant army of the Southern Song Dynasty on a dark and windy night. It was surprised to hear that tens of thousands of battle drums were beating in the mountains, and they did not dare to enter the mountains. Some of the remnant Army survived. In order to thank God for saving their lives, they changed their name to general mountain.

There is a temple on the fifth section of junzhang ancient road, called Chengxing temple. It is located at the bottom of the deep valley of the ecological park. It is not visible outside. It is a typical "deep mountain Tibetan ancient temple". It is said that emperor Jianwen Zhu Yunwen was defeated by his uncle Zhu Di and escaped from the capital. He took refuge here for several months, so Chengxing temple is also called Dragon Temple.

In view of the above historical origins, it is appropriate to name the crossing line "junzhang ancient road".

Travel through

Junzhang ancient road starts from Baojie Mountain Forest Park, with convenient and safe parking, wide and smooth assembly point and pleasant scenery; it ends at junzhang village, the terminal station of bus No.9 and No.82, which is convenient to return by bus, and there are a lot of commodities in the street, which is convenient to supplement energy. The total length is about 20 km, which is divided into six sections. The junction of the sections is the withdrawal point. The farthest distance from the bus stop is no more than 1 km, and the nearest distance is only a few tens of meters. The overall evaluation shows that the difficulty and intensity coefficient of the route are both medium and low, which is suitable for people of different types, ages and physical fitness. Of course, you must be healthy and walkable. Specifically:

The first section is about 3 kilometers from Baojie mountain forest park to dashantou, which is suitable for people with average physical fitness and parents with children. It takes 3 hours to take photos while walking. This section is all on the mountain. The mountain is not high, the forest is dense, and the road is not wide and tortuous. Children must be cared for by adults throughout the whole process. Take the No.82 bus back to the city.

The second section is about 3km away from dafunan village. The intensity is lower than that of the first section, but it is easy to get lost in the jungle. It is necessary to carefully identify the red ribbon and signs. To be on the safe side, it's better for first-time riders to be led.

The first two paragraphs add up, which is suitable for family travel of leisure nature. Take bus No.82 at Dafu South Village bus station, it's very convenient.

The third section is about 2.5 km from dafunan village to Xingfu reservoir (wolongtan). The difficulty and intensity are lower, but the entrance is hidden, and the first passer may not be able to find it. There are many ancient roads on the way, and the scenery is excellent; there are many forked roads, so be careful not to go astray. Because you need to walk through the orchard, you must not be greedy in the harvest season of drunk plum and red bayberry and orange.

The fourth section is about 3.5km from the reservoir to bypass the former site of Rubber Plant No.2, and then cross the mountain to Panlong Road pass. The front section has a winding path at the foot of the mountain, and the back section is interspersed with the mountain. The difficulty is average and the intensity is medium. The first crossing must be led by someone, otherwise it is very easy to deviate.

The addition of the first four paragraphs is suitable for those with good physical fitness. It's not suitable to take children with you. Guanghua School Station by 82 or Zhangxiang by 9 back.

The fifth section starts from Panlong Road pass to the main peak of junzhang, then goes down to Longsi, and passes through the ecological park, about 3 km. Due to the need to climb the main peak (the relative height difference is 200 meters), the road condition of linmi is poor, and the energy consumption is large, so it is not recommended that friends who never exercise participate in it. If you feel tired after climbing, pay attention when you go down the mountain, then withdraw from the gate of the ecological park and take the No. 82 or No. 9 bus back.

The sixth section is about 5 km from the barbecue point of the ecological park to junzhang village. Except for the last few hundred meters, they all travel through the hillside and ridge jungle. The difficulty is not low, the distance is not short, and the physical consumption is large. The road is thick and hard to identify. The first passer-by must be led, otherwise he will get lost 100%. It's difficult to retreat before going down the mountain. Take route 9 or 82.

The intensity of the whole process is medium. The wearer needs to be strong and hardworking to have a beginning and an end.
