Located on the southwest Bank of Lihu lake, shitangqiaotu is an ecological corridor connecting Lihu lake and Taihu Lake, with a total length of 10 kilometers and an area of 260 hectares, including 80 hectares of water. It is adjacent to junzhang mountain in the west, University Town in the East, Lihu Lake in the north, Taihu Lake in the south, mountains and lakes in the south, with superior geographical location and natural environment. In May 2005, the Ministry of construction listed it in the list of the second batch of national urban wetland parks, which is one of the ten national urban wetland parks in China.
Main attractions
The park is decorated with wooden plank road, bird watching Pavilion, water level observation platform, discovery Pavilion, natural wetland exhibition hall, etc., so that visitors can appreciate the natural charm of wetland. Development and construction
The 300m demonstration section of Changguangxi Wetland Park in the north end was completed and opened in January 2006. The first phase of the project was officially opened to the public in May 2011, and the second phase of the planned Park was completed by the end of 2014.

As an important channel directly flowing into Taihu Lake, after the implementation of the project, Changguang river will greatly reduce the load of total nitrogen, total phosphorus and other pollutants entering Taihu Lake, effectively improve the water quality of Lihu lake and Taihu Lake, and improve the ecological quality and biodiversity of Taihu Lake and Wuxi City. At the same time, it provides a place for citizens to have leisure and entertainment. It brings great social, economic and ecological benefits and greatly promotes the sustainable development of local economy.
