Shanghai Opera House is a national theater founded in September 1982 on the basis of Shanghai Opera Troupe. It has been led by Jiefang Daily Group since March 2001. At present, Shanghai Opera Theater is subordinate to actors group, performance group, dance design and production center, performance management center, art room, party and government office, etc. The current president Mao Shanyu, general Party branch secretary Jin Xueling, Huang jiangqiang and Shao Zhixing.

Introduction to Shanghai Opera

Shanghai Opera is a unique local opera in Shanghai. It originated from Tiantou folk songs and folk folk songs on both sides of the Pujiang River. The melody is fresh and beautiful, and has a strong flavor of Jiangnan Silk and bamboo. From the early Huagu opera, bentan opera and Shenqu opera to the contemporary Shanghai Opera, it has gone through more than 200 years. The development of Shanghai Opera has always been closely related to the historical changes of Shanghai city. Shanghai Shanghai Opera Theater is a national theater founded on the basis of Shanghai Shanghai Opera Troupe in January 1982. In recent years, the theater has made new achievements in promoting creation, development and performance. At present, the theater has three performing entities, including the first troupe, the Youth League and the Mao Shanyu art production agency. Shanghai Opera Theater has a strong artistic lineup, including Ma Lili, Chen Yu, Mao Shanyu, sun Xuchun, Wang Huazhong, Shen Renwei, Zhang Xingsheng, Lu Jingye, Xu Botao, Wang Mingdao, LV Xianli, Ni Xinjia and other well-known actors in the audience, as well as a group of new Shanghai opera stars such as Qian Sijian, Zhu Jian, Hong Liyong, Shen Jin, Cheng Zhen, Huang Liya and Ji Yanping. Shanghai theater also has a strong creative force, with a large number of writers, directors, composers and dance designers with senior artistic titles and rich creative experience. As a well-known art performing group in China, Shanghai Opera Theater has performed abroad several times, entered Beijing seven times, and participated in national performances held many times, which has expanded the influence of Shanghai Opera. He has created a number of good Shanghai Opera repertoires, such as Luo hanqian, two sisters, and the moon shines on the mother's heart. He has won many awards in the national opera performances.

The theatre has a lot of excellent traditional plays, such as Lu Yachen selling his wife, meeting in an Tang, borrowing yellow chaff and a bi Da Hui Niang, which are lively and interesting. The mid-term traditional operas, such as "the spring in the blue", "the fan of the young grandmother", "Thunderstorm" and "rebellious women", are colorful and unique. Since 1950s and 1960s, luohanqian, xingzhihuo, Hongdeng Ji, Ludang kindling, jinxiuniang, the death of Zhang Zhixin, the experience of a star, people in the fog, cowboy Girl, fugitive, mingyuezhao mother's heart, today's dream circle and other plays have had a great influence in the country. The story of the red light and the fire of Ludang were transplanted into Peking Opera and became famous at home and abroad. "Luohanqian" won the first prize of national opera actor, script award and music award. "Two sisters" has won 10 awards, including the National Award for excellent works of modern drama, drama and opera. "The moon shines on Mother's heart" has won 9 excellent awards for national modern drama performance, and has been awarded the Wenhua award by the Ministry of culture. Today's dream comes true won the outstanding drama award of the 4th China Drama Festival. In recent years, the theatre has visited Hong Kong several times and performed well.

Cast

Shanghai Theatre has a strong performance lineup. At that time, the old generation of Shanghai opera performing artists represented by Ding shi'e created their own artistic schools and made important contributions to the development of Shanghai Opera. Nowadays, Mao Shanyu, Ma Lili, Chen Yu, LV Xianli, Qian Sijian and other famous actors have enjoyed high reputation in the audience. New stage stars such as Zhu Jian, Cheng Zhen and Hong Liyong have come to the fore after constant training. Wang Lijun and Zhao Junqing, the younger generation of newcomers, have also appeared on the stage of Shanghai Opera and won praise from all sides.

The mid-term traditional dramas, such as "blue spring", "Thunderstorm", "rebellious women", "Thunderstorm", "little grandma's fan", "home" and "under pomegranate skirt", which are known as "suit Qipao drama", are popular among the audience in recent years.

Shanghai Opera is good at reflecting modern life. Shanghai Opera Theater has made full use of this artistic advantage and created and performed a large number of excellent modern operas that represent the new era and shape new characters. In the 1950s and 1960s, Luo hanqian, the spark of the stars, Lu Dang kindling, chicken feather flying into the sky and the story of the red light were edited and performed; in the new era, the encounter of a star, two sisters, the moon shining on the mother's heart, the wind and rain of the same age, today's dream come true, and Dong Meiqing, a thousand tears in the heart, which were created and performed in recent years《 Shanghai teacher, red wedding, dragon and Phoenix, Song Qingling in Shanghai and yiwenqian have exerted great influence in Shanghai and the whole country. Lu Dang Huo Zhong and Hong Deng Ji were also transplanted into Modern Peking Opera, which is familiar to the masses. Some plays have been adapted into movies or TV series, which are popular all over the country and famous at home and abroad.

As a well-known art performance group in China, Shanghai Shanghai Opera Theater has received cordial care from leading comrades at all levels for a long time. Several generations of leading comrades of the Central Committee and the Shanghai municipal Party committee and the Shanghai municipal government have personally watched the performances of the theater and given warm encouragement and support.

In all kinds of national performances, Shanghai Theatre has won many honors, including the "Wenhua Award" awarded by the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China, the "five one project" award awarded by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the "Shanghai Literature and art outstanding achievement award" awarded by the Shanghai municipal government. It has also been rated as the advanced collective of "three going to the countryside" by 14 central ministries and commissions, including the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China. Some famous actors in the theatre have successively won the Chinese Drama Plum Blossom award, the Mandarin performance award of the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China, the outstanding leading role award of the Chinese Drama Festival and the Shanghai Magnolia drama art performance leading role award.

In recent years, Shanghai Opera Theater has been expanding its foreign exchanges. He has visited Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa and the United States several times and performed for the president of Vietnam, the president of the United States and the king of Cambodia. In January 2006, Mao Shanyu, President of Shanghai opera academy and famous actor of Shanghai Opera, went to Austria to participate in the "Chinese New Year Concert" held in the Golden Hall of Vienna and performed the Shanghai Opera anthology "Yan Yan matchmaking". For the first time, Shanghai Opera has been on the world-class art Palace.

On June 10, 2006, China's first cultural heritage day, Shanghai Opera, as the only opera declared by Shanghai, was approved by the State Council to be listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list.
