Firefly water cave tourist area (former Simen Cave Scenic Area, Shandong Underground fluorescent Lake Scenic Area).

Firefly water cave tourist area is located 19 kilometers southwest of Yishui County. It is a famous underground firefly mysterious world. It is a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating leisure, vacation, recreation, entertainment, research and learning, firefly viewing.

In 2000, the firefly water cave tourist area began construction and opened to the public in March. In 2008, the firefly water cave tourist area was rated as national AAAA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration

Introduction to scenic spots

Introduction

Firefly water cave tourist area is a place where fireflies can be seen all year round. The constant temperature in the cave is 18 ℃ all the year round. There are mysterious Asian firefly wonders, stalactites of different shapes, karst dark lake with water volume of 350000 cubic meters, and large ecological Butterfly Valley in Jiangbei.

Firefly water cave was formed about 65 million to 230 million years ago, with a total length of 1200 meters. It is a "National Geopark" and a national "AAAA tourist area". There are more than 60 scenic spots in the cave, such as lakes and mountains, interstellar dreams, black hole exploration, valley and galaxy, and space-time travel.

Southern style garden

Nanguo style garden is a tropical ornamental area combining tropical plant planting with health care and leisure functions. It has a variety of tropical crops, colorful flowers and fruit plants, full fruit shed pastoral scenery, spectacular and orderly tourism corridor, creating a green world of evergreen all the year round.

Lotus Valley

Firefly water cave

Fireflies have very strict requirements for their living environment. They like to live in places with pure air, less light pollution and abundant water and grass. All kinds of transportation and recreation facilities are complete in the tourist area. Now there are 2 large-scale sightseeing buses and 5 17 passenger sightseeing buses, which travel between the southern style garden and butterfly valley with a total length of more than 1500 meters.

Taking advantage of the surrounding mountains and waters, the tourist area has skillfully developed the cliff waterfall rafting project. The tourists can take a ride down the river in the rotating kayak, enjoy the 360 degree beautiful scenery, play with the water and have fun.

With a total length of 1200 meters, the trolley goes down the track to the yinghuoshuidong parking lot. The car body is long and wide with safety braking device. Tourists can control the speed by themselves. The designed speed can reach 15 km / h. It is comfortable, safe, reliable and thrilling.

Butterfly research base

The tourist area has a large butterfly research base in northern China. It not only protects the ecological environment and actively breeds butterflies, but also provides people with the conditions to watch butterflies and understand their life. Firefly Nature Reserve

While providing fireflies for tourists to watch, we should actively protect the ecological environment on which fireflies live and establish ecological civilization. Thirdly, establish firefly research base, strengthen the breeding and reproduction of firefly, and make full use of and protect firefly on the basis of scientific research. By 2018, the firefly water cave Nature Reserve has an area of 10 square kilometers, with an annual protection and breeding of nearly 1 million fireflies, and an annual investment of about 7 million yuan in breeding research.

Graduate School season

From March to October, the firefly water cave entered the peak season of research and study travel, and the popular science classes started simultaneously. In the summer, the research and study travel entered the crazy mode.
