Shanghai educated youth Museum
Located in Haiwan Park, Fengxian District, Shanghai, with a total investment of more than 13 million yuan and a total construction area of 1536 square meters, Shanghai educated youth museum is a comprehensive large-scale exhibition hall reflecting the history of Shanghai educated youth going to the countryside more than 40 years ago. It was completed and opened in November 2011, and officially listed on August 10, 2014.
Create background
In the early 1960s, the state began to mobilize urban educated youth to go to the countryside in a planned way. More than 1.2 million Shanghai educated youth went to the suburbs of Shanghai, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan and Xinjiang in batches, commonly known as "eight provinces and one City".
In 2010, many educated youths in Shanghai enthusiastically donated relevant materials and articles, "hoes, plows and straw sandals used by educated youths in rural areas, washbasins, thermos bottles and kerosene lamps used for living in poor environment, as well as notices, bus passes and train tickets for jumping in line and settling down at that time are very precious."
Exhibition content
The exhibition of the Museum of educated youth is mainly about real people and real things. The exhibition materials used are all from the published written materials and the collected materials of educated youth, which reflect the years spent by the educated youth in Shanghai in the form of words, pictures, pictures, scenes, sculptures and cultural relics. In addition, the museum also combines sound, light and electricity with the real scene of the educated youth's age, cultural relics of the educated youth's age, and wax statues of the educated youth to reproduce the scene of the educated youth going to the countryside.
Memorial wall of educated youth
As one of the most commemorative theme projects of Zhiqing square, the total length is 215.43 meters and the height is 2.5 meters. It is composed of 181 pieces of black granite named "Shanxi black".
The contents reflected in it are quite different. The designer selected the old photos with historical significance from them, reflecting the process of the educated youth movement from the beginning to the end. It describes the scenes of the educated youth working and studying in the countryside, such as changing the world, hard training, remoulding, and enjoying a bumper harvest. While "receiving the re education of the poor and the middle peasants", it also provides a good opportunity for the development of the new socialist countryside We have made great contributions to the exhibition and construction. The picture is shown in the way of shadow carving, engraved with the signature of the educated youth and the characteristic scenery of each region, forming a beautiful landscape. Each scene is connected like a scroll full of artistic elements.
