JIANMENGUAN scenic spot is one of the first batch of national key scenic spots announced by the State Council in 1982. It is the core scenic spot of Jianmen Shudao scenic spot, a National Forest Park, a national key cultural relics protection unit, a provincial Geopark, and one of the 100 national Red Tourism classic scenic spots. It was listed as a national 4A scenic spot in September 2010. The outcrops of conglomerates are mostly cliffs, with high mountains and steep peaks, deep valleys and narrow valleys. The elevation of the top of the mountain ranges from 800m to 1330M, and the relative elevation difference ranges from 300m to 800m. Dajian mountain, where the Jianmen pass is located, is a typical representative of this geomorphic area, with its continuous stone walls, numerous peaks and swords.

JIANMENGUAN National Forest Park in Sichuan Province is a sub region of pine oak forest in Sichuan Province. Chayuangou scenic area of JIANMENGUAN National Forest Park is the habitat of hedgehog, Swertia deer, muntjac and golden pheasant.

Jianmen pass
JIANMENGUAN scenic area is located in the east of Sichuan JIANMENGUAN National Forest Park. It is the core value area of Jinniu Road in the pre Qin ancient Shu Road. It lasted more than 3000 years. It is a must pass place for people to leave Qin and enter Shu in ancient times. Zhuge Liang once built a plank road and set up a garrison in this area. It is known as "Jiange", "the first pass in the world" and "the gateway of Western Shu".

Chayuangou
Chayuangou scenic spot is located in the northwest of Sichuan JIANMENGUAN National Forest Park, in the deep mountain gorge 14 kilometers southwest of Jiange County, known as xiaojiuzhaigou in northern Sichuan. Chayuangou reservoir was built in the early 1970s. There are many natural landscapes in chayuangou, such as jirenya, xiongrenya, meimeifeng, niujiaoshi, etc. Chayuangou reservoir is surrounded by dense forests, rich in precious medicinal materials such as Angelica sinensis, Gastrodia elata and Eucommia ulmoides. Longwangtan
Longwangtan scenic area is located in the west of JIANMENGUAN National Forest Park in Sichuan Province. It is located in the upper reaches of Xiaojianxi, a tributary of Qingjiang River. There are longwangtan reservoir, Jianmen 72 peak, zhujiazhai (kuzhu Village), zhuwangshan, dadiaoyan and other scenic spots. Longwangtan Reservoir Scenic Area includes hub sightseeing area and lake light viewing area. The forest coverage rate is more than 95%. Ecological protection
From the founding of new China to 1998, the Forestry Department of Jiange county had built more than 2000 ancient cypresses on both sides of the ancient post road of Jianmen Shu Road to prevent and control diseases and insect pests in successive years. Five times of counting, two times of numbering and listing, two times of age determination and two times of volume estimation were carried out. In 2002, Sichuan cuiyunlang ancient cypress Provincial Nature Reserve was established to protect cuiyunlang ancient cypress.
In April 2014, the people's Government of Jiange County passed and issued the "management measures for cuiyunlang ancient cypress Nature Reserve in Jiange county", which defined the protection scope, protection institutions, protection measures, reward and punishment mechanism of cuiyunlang ancient cypress nature reserve.
