Guannong park is located in the northeast corner of Putuo District, adjacent to guannong road in the South and Shanghai Nanjing railway in the north, with an area of 12500 square meters, a green area of 6060 square meters and a water area of 170 square meters. The annual number of tourists is 1.277 million. It was free in 1994.

Park facilities

Based on ecological principles, the park is mainly plant landscaping, with pools, fountains, curved bridges, pavilions, flower racks, scaffolding, teahouses, canteens and children's paradise.

As soon as you enter the gate of the park, a 60 square meter flowerbed is in full bloom. There is a pool on the left side of the main road. Linchi is a two-story teahouse and a buffet. Visitors can enjoy tea and view the scenery here. A reinforced concrete curved bridge is 1.2 meters wide and 10 meters long, with iron chain as the balustrade. It straddles the pool, connecting the garden road and the teahouse. The pool is not big, but the water is clear and transparent. The lotus flowers in the pool are gorgeous, and the mushroom fountain and color lighting make the whole landscape lively. Inside the flower bed is the Platanus Avenue, and on both sides there are Wisteria scaffolds that have been growing for many years. In early April, lavender Wisteria flowers are hanging all over the scaffolds, and bees and flying saucers dance. To the east of the flower bed, along the winding path, there are tall and beautiful cedars, Magnolia grandiflora, acacia, Podocarpus, red maple leaf, red leaf plum, and red geranium, golden peach as a foil. The branches are soft and the flowers are gorgeous, charming and lovely. In the deep of the path, suddenly a green and soft lawn comes into view, which makes people suddenly enlightened, such as rose, papaya Begonia, Cedrus, azalea, and Euonymus japonicus Around the ball ring cloth, the color is clear.

There is a group of unique combination pavilions in the North mound of the garden, called "harmony Pavilion". The West Pavilion is square, 9 square meters, the North Pavilion is rectangular, 12 square meters, all of which are red flat tiles with sharp roofs. However, the North Pavilion is only two 0.75 meters wide, with 0.3 meters of columns supporting the top of the pavilion. There are wooden benches between the two columns. Beside the pavilion, there is a round stool like a tree stump, surrounded by Osmanthus fragrans, Begonia, crape myrtle and roses. In the blooming season, the fragrance is overflowing and refreshing, which is a good place for reading and entertainment. Northwest of the park is a distribution center, where fitness people gather every day. There are also various children's amusement facilities for children, such as small trains, trampolines, toy fishing and so on. In the north of the garden, coral hedgerow, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Taxodium ascendens, mosquito mother and other trees are planted along the fence of Shanghai Nanjing railway. In other open spaces, iris, Acorus tatarinowii, Ophiopogon japonicus, Lycoris radiata, Cymbidium sinense and other ground cover plants are planted. The garden is covered with soil and hills and planted with tall trees. Beside the garden road are evergreen trees and flower border. The roof and walls of the teahouse are covered with Parthenocissus and roses. There are more than 70 species of tree species in the park. The park is an ideal place for the public to take part in activities.
