The protection and exhibition project of dingdingmen site in Luoyang City of Sui and Tang Dynasties is one of the first batch of key projects for the protection of large sites determined by the State Administration of cultural relics. With a total investment of more than 40 million yuan, the project has officially started construction. The newly completed site museum is located in the north of the ancient city road in Luoyang New Area and the southeast of the Sui and Tang Dynasty site botanical garden. It is divided into one underground floor and two above ground floors, with a total construction area of 12616 square meters and a building height of about 28 meters. Among them, the underground floor is the original site display, showing the gate, pillar foundation stone, city wall, etc. of dingdingmen site excavated by archaeology. The museum on the ground two floors shows the evolution history of dingdingmen site and some cultural relics unearthed from archaeological excavation.
