Jiuyao mountain is connected with Nanping mountain by stone steps. From the foot of Nanping mountain to the top of Jiuyao mountain, there are about 1050 steps on the footpath. It takes about half an hour to walk. A group of pavilions and pavilions are built on the top of Jiuyao mountain for tourists to rest and overlook.
On the north side of Jiuyao mountain, there are stone steps leading to Taizi Bay, on the southwest side there are access roads leading to Hupao, and on the south side there are paths leading to the hillside of Yuhuang mountain.
Due to the connection of Nanping mountain, Jiuyao mountain and Yuhuang mountain, the mountain is not high and the distance is short. It is a good route for mountaineering and fitness, so many people come here for morning exercises.
