Statue of ciyunling
The statue of ciyunling is a national key cultural relic protection unit. It is located between the stone walls on the south slope of ciyunling, Yuhuang mountain, Hangzhou. It was carved by Qian Hong, king of Wu and Yue, when he founded Zixian temple in 942, the seventh year of Tianfu in the Late Jin Dynasty. Now the temple has disappeared, and the statues on the cliff are well preserved. There are two niches, large and small.
Characteristics of cultural relics
The main niche faces east and West. It is 10 meters wide and 5.8 meters high. There are 7 statues in the niche, with Mitha in the middle, Guanyin Bodhisattva on the left and dashizhi Bodhisattva on the right. There are two Bodhisattvas and two heavenly kings on both sides. The niche faces south, 2.6 meters high and 2.3 meters wide. The statue of Bodhisattva king of Tibet, with bald head and big ears, is carved in the middle of the statue. On both sides of the temple, there are people to support, and the "six Samsara" is embossed on the niche lintel.
The statue of ciyunling is at the south foot of ciyunling, Yuhuang mountain, Shangcheng district. In the seventh year of Tianfu in the later Jin Dynasty (942), the Wu and Yue states of the Five Dynasties carved statues when they built Ziyan temple here. There are seven round sculptures in the main niche, and three sitting statues in the middle, namely Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva and dashizhi Bodhisattva. Behind them, there is a pearl shaped backlight. Inside the niche, there is a peony wrapped with branches, and the edge is decorated with flame patterns. All of them are in full sitting style, sitting on the Xumi seat of Yanglian. There are two standing images of Bodhisattva and two standing images of heavenly king on both sides. The upper parts of the seven statues are embossed with two flying Apsaras and two Jialing Pinjia birds, each in the shape of scattered flowers. The lintel of the niche is arched, with seven Buddhas in the middle. At both ends are Manjusri Bodhisattva riding a lion and Puxian Bodhisattva riding an elephant, both of which are reliefs. On the north side of the shrine, there are statues of Bodhisattvas and flanking attendants.
There are bareheaded and big ears in Tibet. Dressed as a monk, he sits on the lotus seat with his left foot drooping. On both sides of the niche, he stands respectfully holding objects. On the left side of the niche, he leads out the cloud head and goes around to the top of the niche. There are "six Samsara" in the clouds. Nearby, there are also 12 character seal inscriptions of "records of yanyaling stone statue of Xinjian Zhenguo Ziyan", a stele shaped cliff stone inscription of "Buddha's tooth praise" and cliff stone inscriptions of "Buddhist monk".
