Qinghua Palace

Qinghua palace is located in Chunlin village, Qujiang New District, Xi'an. It was built in 1046 B.C. during the reign of King Wu of Zhou Dynasty. It was an ancient royal sacrificial temple. In history, it was once large-scale and fragrant.

It is now the only legitimate Taoist activity place registered by the government in the south of Xi'an.

History follows

Qinghua palace is located in Chunlin village, Qujiang New District, Xi'an. Qujiangchi, hanyao, dulingyuan, Dayan Pagoda, furongyuan, Qin II tomb and many other historical sites are surrounded by a large scale in history.

Qinghua palace was built in King Wu of Zhou Dynasty (1046 BC), which is the former site of "taiyizu Temple" built in the southeast suburb of Haojing. In the eighth year of the Republic of China, abbot Hou Lihua changed his name to Qinghua palace according to the fact that the great emperor of Qinghua saved kutianzun and lived in Changle world of Qinghua.

In the autumn of 1997, Xi'an Taoist Association officially took over and appointed Taoist Huang Shizhen, the first abbot of Qinghua palace. There was a hall, four dangerous houses and one kitchen facing collapse when the Taoist priest was stationed. More than 100 mu of land had been allocated to villagers, and the actual use area of the temple was less than 1 mu. Taoist priest Huang Shizhen is determined to promote Taoism, raise funds, rebuild the main hall, build a new single room, paint the walls of the hall, rebuild the statues, add supplies and buy temple property. Take back a pair of Shiyang in the Han Dynasty, a stone tablet granted by the emperor of the Ming Dynasty to Zhang Sanfeng, and an iron chime in the Qing Dynasty. The size of office, single room, kitchen and other living rooms is 10. It is the only legal religious place in the south of the city approved by the government.

Style of ancient temple

Min zhiting, member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and former chairman of the China Taoist Association, wrote couplets of Gongmen; Ren Farong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and chairman of the China Taoist Association, inscribed "Taiyi ancestral court" and "charity patriarch"; Xu Shanlin, former vice governor of Shaanxi Province, inscribed "Qinghua Palace" and "charity ancestral court".

Qinghua palace is dedicated to the God, the great emperor of Qinghua, who is the founder of charity who seeks help for the great mercy. Among them, there are also gods worshipped, such as Sanqing Daozu, Guansheng emperor, Guanyu grandmaster, Chunyang emperor, LV Dongbin grandmaster, Wenchang emperor, Cihang immortal and marshal fan Lihua. On the birthday of the gods, the Taoist temple held a ceremony to save the suffering and bless the ten believers.

It is said that Wang Baochuan, who suffered from the cold, would go to the Qinghua Palace on the first day and the fifteenth day of the lunar new year to pay homage to Taiyi and save kutianzun, in order to protect her husband's safe return and reunion. In Tang Dynasty, marshal fan Lihua got Taiyi to save kutianzun and became immortal.

In recent years, the incense continues, and most of the believers come from Europe, America and Southeast Asia. With the continuous pilgrimage and study of foreign believers, many news media reported and publicized, so that more and more domestic believers began to find the Qinghua palace living in seclusion in Qujiang, which almost became the traditional culture probation place favored by most teachers and students in Xi'an.

Xi'an is the holy land for the ancient Taiyi to save the Suffering God, and it was once the religious, political, economic and cultural center of China in history. Together with Rome in Italy, Athens in Greece and Cairo in Egypt, it is known as the four ancient civilizations in the world.

Since the reform and opening up, Qinghua palace has been patriotic and loving religion, relieving suffering, bridging bridges, and helping the poor. At the same time, the abbot Huang Shizhen has also carried forward the fine tradition of Taoism's opening up the door to the outside world, and has successively accepted the beauty Taoist believers from more than 20 countries and regions, including China, Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan, Luxembourg, Spain, Canada, Russia, Portugal, Mexico, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, have helped to set up Taoist activity places and Taoist associations in nearly 10 countries. They were invited to initiate and organize the establishment of the international Taoist Association in France. Qinghua palace has actively carried out friendly exchanges with foreign countries, made positive contributions to the dissemination of Taoist culture, has certain international influence, and has been recognized and praised by all walks of life, the Chinese Taoist Association and the National Bureau of religion.

The holy land of charity

Qinghua palace will inherit and give full play to Taiyi ancestral court's long history, cultural attractions, geographical location, international influence and other advantages, and carry forward Taiyi's charitable cultural concept of saving the Suffering God. With the construction of Xi'an as an international metropolis, based on the original Qinghua palace, which is located in the Qujiang national cultural industry base in Xi'an, the international moral charity University, the international charity Hotel, the international charity Performing Arts Square and other facilities will be built. We will strive to build Qinghua palace into an international charity culture demonstration center integrating religious worship, tourism and leisure, health training, international exchanges and charity assistance. Finally, everyone will become a good person with "good heart, good words and good deeds" and a "charity messenger" with noble moral sentiment. Xi'an, a civilized city with a history of more than 3000 years, will become the international "charity city" and "charity Holy Land".

Qinghua palace will continue to carry out international exchanges, cultivate a group of international talents for foreign exchanges, popularize Taoist charity culture to the whole society, carry forward the spirit of Taoism's solidarity and benevolence, build a platform for the international Taoist Association, and work together through Taoist organizations and people from all walks of life to create a new situation for international Taoist charity.
