Lianchi Temple
There are two Lianchi temples in China. One is located in Shimiao village, ruoyuan Township, the eastern suburb of Zhongwei County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The main canal of the north ring is from north to south, and the fire dragon flies from east to West in the south. The other is located in angping, Hong Kong, to the west of Baolian temple, facing the Great Buddha in the temple of heaven.
Lianchi temple was founded by master Shangshi xiaru in 1921 and registered as a non profit making limited company in 1991.
Brief introduction to temples
Lianchi temple is located in Shimiao village, ruoyuan Township, the eastern suburb of Zhongwei County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The main canal of the North Ring Road benefits the north and south, and the fire dragon flies from the south to the East and from the West. There are four seasons in pingye, abundant rice and wheat, farmhouses far and near, and green trees.
Lianchi temple is a rising star in Zhongwei area. In the late period of the cultural revolution, when the four evils disturbed the country, Shi fangxini, who originally lived in Daqing temple, returned to Shimiao village, where she was born, and built a Maopeng, named "Lianchi Temple". In 1990, with the approval of the government, the new temple, which covers an area of more than four mu, began to be built.
Layout structure
All the buildings are of archaic design, with reasonable layout and tight structure. The central axis extends forward and backward, symmetrical left and right, and orderly. The plaque of "Lianchi Temple" written by Mingshan, a modern eminent monk, is hung in the middle of the eyebrow on the mountain gate. The building of the mountain gate is of the five Phoenix sunrise style, with unique carvings. On both sides are the relief "hem ha" two generals Yongzhen Mountain Gate to subdue demons and protect the Dharma. In the middle of the front hall, there is a Maitreya incarnation Buddha, smiling and free. He is accompanied by the Brahma Bodhisattva and the great Brahma general under his knees, which has the momentum of subduing demons and demons. Back to the plastic Dharma Weituo, holding a pestle, showing the majestic posture, righting and exorcising. There are four heavenly kings on both sides of the statue, which make the good respect the people and the evil fear the people.
main hall
In the middle hall of Lianchi temple, there is a plaque inscribed with Zhao Pu's letter "Da Xiong Bao Dian", in which there are white jade Sakyamuni and Manjusri Puxian Bodhisattva from Myanmar. There are 16 statues of saints on both sides. On the back wall, there is a picture of the Buddha's saying that he is a treasure of heaven. It seems that the Buddha is alive.
After the Jade Buddha, there is the South China Sea Guanyin, and the good fortune Dragon Girl takes her place. Outside the East and west walls of the central hall, there are pictures of the Dragon King praising the Buddha, the Buddha's saying for the Great North in the bamboo forest, and the dragon heaven's joy. There are brick carvings on the north wall.
The last hall is the western three saints Hall of "Lianchi Haihui", which Buddhists yearn for. The three statues are carved in camphor wood from Suzhou Dahu. They are pasted with gold and sit on the exquisitely carved lianhuabao. They are magnificent and round. On the two sides, there are two halls of Guanyin and dizang, each of which is of high quality. Wall painting has its own style. Inscriptions, halls, bells and drums have their own characteristics.

Abbot of the temple
Lianchi temple is a 37 year old master of the Imperial College. She is commonly known as Feng Yuezhen. She is from Zhenluo Township, Zhongwei County, Ningxia. In the spring of 1980, he studied Dharma from fangxini master of Lianchi temple. In 1984, he studied Dharma under the seat of master juehuai of Keshan, Huian, Fujian. He was named Changshun with the name of yanghao Guangzhao. In 1988, he received two Buddhist precepts in Chongfu temple, Fujian Province. He graduated from Minnan Buddhist College in 1991.
In 1997, he returned to Lianchi temple as abbot. According to historical records, during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, the emperor ordered seven temples to be built in Tacheng in order to ensure the peace of the border areas.
Resume construction
Lianchi temple, a "Guanyin Pavilion" demolished during the cultural revolution at the latest, is the restored Guanyin Lianchi temple.
