Gansu science and Technology Museum is located at No. 568, yin'an Road, Anning District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, covering an area of 56.57 mu, with a construction area of 50075 square meters. The appearance of the museum integrates Gansu regional cultural elements and modern scientific and technological design concepts.

Gansu science and Technology Museum is mainly composed of Gansu science and Technology Museum and office building of Gansu Association for science and technology, with the theme of "experiencing science, feeling innovation and harmonious development". The exhibition hall is divided into four functional areas, including preface hall, atrium, permanent exhibition hall, temporary exhibition hall, giant screen / 4D two in one cinema, ball screen cinema, scientific practice and experience center, academic lecture hall, and more than 400 pieces (sets) of exhibition materials Composition. Historical evolution

In the 1980s, Lanzhou science palace was established.

In 2005, Lanzhou science palace was renamed Gansu science and Technology Museum.

In May 2010, the construction project of Gansu science and Technology Museum was officially approved.

In February 2011, Gansu science and technology museum construction project passed the "feasibility study report". Gansu science and Technology Museum consists of 12 functional areas, including science and culture and Art Square, historical culture and science and technology industry, and preface hall, with nearly 400 sets of exhibits.

In 2014, the main construction of Gansu science and Technology Museum was completed.

On December 28, 2017, the construction project of Gansu science and Technology Museum was completed and opened.

Main responsibilities

Gansu science and Technology Museum is a public welfare infrastructure project invested by Gansu provincial Party committee and government to implement the strategy of revitalizing the province through science and education and the innovation driven development strategy. It is a large-scale comprehensive science popularization construction project with the largest investment scale and the most complete functions in the history of Gansu Province. It is listed as a key construction project by the provincial, municipal and district governments. It is also a landmark building in Lanzhou city.

1. Opening hours: 9:30-16:30 from Wednesday to Sunday (legal holidays will be adjusted accordingly); daily appointment period is 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 2.
