Zhengyuan Mosque
Zhengyuan mosque, located at No. 40, dongguanyingxi District, Xicheng District, Beijing, is an Islamic mosque. The original name of Zhengyuan mosque is "beigouyan mosque" and "zhaodengyu road mosque". The original site is located at 37 and 39 zhaodengyu Road, Xicheng District. Built in the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, the original temple is small in scale, with worship hall, Imam room, bathroom and other buildings. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the religious real estate policy was implemented, and some houses were vacated by the occupiers. The temple was renovated in June 1986 and reopened as a place for religious activities.
