Guling mountain scenic spot is a national AAAA scenic spot and the best cultural tourist spot in China. It is located in Taihang Mountain, 8 kilometers northwest of Qi County, covering an area of 10 square kilometers. Lingshan temple is surrounded by mountains, with green peaks and two dragon and tiger mountains.

Guling mountain scenic spot is also the place where the story of Fengshenbang happened, where the ancestor of human beings, Nuwa Xiuzhen, and King Zhou Jiangxiang.

development history

Guling mountain scenic spot is located 15 kilometers west of Qi county (Chaoge, capital of King Zhou). It is the place where Nuwa practices truth, King Zhou subdues incense and the story of Fengshenbang takes place.

The theme culture is Nu Wa culture and Yin Shang culture. It is mainly composed of six sections: the main scenic spot of Nuwa palace, the place of King Zhou's incense, Chaoyang temple, Qingliang nunnery, stone city, Liangshui spring and Lingguang Pavilion. The main scenic spots are: Nuwa palace, Nuwa peak, Nuwa pool, Taigong lake, Yudai River, eye-catching spring and ancient Buddha There are more than 200 caves, butiange, Lingfeng, caishengou, Longtan gorge and so on. Since ancient times, they have been known as "Lingshan Baomiao temple, Shenquan dixinai".

Guling mountain has always been a geomantic treasure land where a group of immortals gather. It was built in the Yin and Shang Dynasties. It is the place where the story of Fengshenbang took place and where Nuwa, the ancestor of human beings, practiced Buddhism. During the Liang Dynasty, the famous eminent monk and Korean singer, who had been the grand commander of Zhaotong temple in the capital for 40 years, practiced here. In the sixth year of emperor Yongwei of Tang Dynasty, Emperor Gaozong called Fayi, the elder of Lingshan temple, to Chang'an to inquire about Buddhism. During Kaiyuan of Tang Dynasty, Lingshan temple was rebuilt. During this period, the temple has an area of more than 500 mu, more than 200 eminent monks, GuQing bursts, wooden fish sound, tourists gather, incense is exuberant. There is Nuwa Palace on the west side of the temple, which is said to be the place where King Zhou sent incense.

During the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, Yu Hui, the magistrate of Qi County, inscribed ten scenes of Lingshan mountain: "less dangerous rocks, towering green peaks, persimmon and flowing elixir, once the pot is covered, the wind and rain are half on the rock, the nine days are filled with sound, the giant cliff is filled with water, the double swords are in autumn, the dragon in the East China Sea is singing, and the tiger in the west mountain is roaring.". In Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, sun Zhenglan, the censor of supervision, wrote a poem on the cliff: "the mountains are outstanding, the clouds are blue, the flowers are green, the sages are three benevolences, the sages are six or seven sages, and the spirits are outstanding through the ages.".

Main attractions

There are more than 60 major scenic spots, including Nuwa peak, Gufo cave, Tongding, Nuwa palace, Yudai River, Heilongtan, Dafo hall, Guanyin cave, Wohu cave, qingliangyan, Chaoyang temple, etc. The majestic and beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers, together with the Millennium historical sites and beautiful legends, constitute this unique tourist attraction, which is a good place for people to visit, worship and explore.

Nuwa peak

Located on the north side of Hushan mountain in the southwest of Nuwa palace, it's more than 70 meters high. It's made in heaven and made with uncanny craftsmanship

Guling mountain is located at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, 10 kilometers northwest of Qi county.

Copper top

The copper roof is located on the top of Xuanwu mountain. It is named for the use of copper tiles on the roof of the main hall. The copper roof covers an area of 100 mu, and the main buildings are Yuncheng, Zhenwu emperor hall, jiuzu hall, Wuliang hall, Shenggong Dame hall, etc. The East-West north gate, city wall, tourist reception center, water flushing toilet and other projects will be built to form the overall construction pattern of Yuncheng, wujinyuan, Linglong tower and north gate. It is said that this is the Daoism of emperor Zhenwu. There are about seven or eight courtyards, each of which is different. Each has its own style. The legendary ancestors of the Chinese nation are all worshipped here with bronze statues, which undoubtedly become the Grand View Garden of Taoist culture. The top of the infinite tower is covered with copper tiles. It is different from Wudang's Jinding and laoyeding's Tieding, so it is called "the first copper top in the world".

In the scenic area, the Nuwa culture and Landscape Tourism Festival of Guling mountain is held from July to August every year; the Nuwa people's worship grand meeting is held from October to November; the first Nuwa culture seminar has been held.

admission ticket

Admission: 40 yuan per person.

Preferential admission policy: half price for students (with valid certificates). Disabled soldiers and active servicemen (with valid certificates) are free of admission. Tickets are free for people over 60 years old (with valid certificates) every six months.

traffic

Guling mountain is located in the northwest of Qi County, Hebi City, Henan Province. Beijing Guangzhou railway, 107 National Highway and Beijing Zhuhai Expressway all pass through Qi county. It is about 15 kilometers away from the center of Hebi City.

Self driving route: Beijing Hong Kong Macao expressway. At the intersection of Qi county expressway, there are obvious road signs along the way. The bus No.1 in Qi county can go directly to Lingshan and wait at the gate of the station. There are many minibuses at the gate of Qi county social bus station to Lingshan

favoured policy

In 2020, Guling mountain scenic spot will be open to medical staff, public security police and fire guards all over the country for free (with valid certificates). Medical workers all over the country can visit the scenic spot free of charge for any time or number of times with their own doctor qualification certificate, nurse certificate and other valid certificates. The people's police of the whole country can visit the scenic spots free of charge with their valid certificates such as police officer certificate. Fire officers and soldiers from all over the country can visit the scenic spot free of tickets with their valid certificates such as the national comprehensive fire rescue team cadre certificate and fireman certificate.
