South slope Mosque
Nanxiapo mosque is one of the mosques in Beijing. It is located in the south of Chaoyang Gate. It was built by local Hui people during the reign of Guangxu. It has a history of more than 300 years. It is one of the only seven ancient mosques in Chaowai area. It is unique in ancient architecture. The temple has always been used by the local Hui people for worship, and is also the funeral Management Office of the Hui people in Beijing.

Historical evolution
The South downhill mosque is located on the South downhill outside Chaoyang Gate. During the reign of Guangxu, it was built by local Hui people. The main hall has 132 square meters, and the North-South hall has 68 square meters, with north-south rooms. It was renovated and painted again in 1986. A plaque of "Gang Wei Wu" written by Prince Yi Zhe in February 1902 is preserved in the temple. The temple has always been used by the local Hui people for worship, and is also the funeral Management Office of the Hui people in Beijing. The top of the gate is round, and the front lintel is inlaid with five big characters of mosque worship Temple carved with white marble. Through the round door and through the two vertical curtain doors, there is a symmetrical north-south lecture hall in the courtyard, and the front is the worship hall. The main hall covers an area of 132 square meters and consists of three parts: front roll shed, worship shop and kiln hall.
architectural style
After several times of construction, the south slope mosque has organically combined the traditional Chinese palace style architectural art with the Arabic style Islamic architectural techniques, and exudes the artistic fragrance of the integration of Islamic culture and traditional Chinese culture. At present, the south slope mosque is solemn and solemn, with a red gate and a large green dome at the top of the hall. On the top of the dome stands a crescent symbol of Islamic characteristics.
Main landscape
A plaque of "Gang Wei Wu" written by Prince Yi Zhe in February of the 28th year of Guangxu (1902) is preserved in the temple. The temple has always been used by the local Hui people for worship. It is also the funeral Management Office of the Hui people in Beijing and a key cultural relic in Chaoyang District.
There are wooden square pavilions, red pillars, blue bricks, green tiles and gold roofs on the kiln hall. It is an arched building with a typical Chinese Islamic style.

On the South downhill of Chaoyang Gate, Chaoyang District, Beijing, 500 meters south of Fenglian building west road or 44 Yabao Road, East into Yabao Road Street, in the Hutong opposite Tianya building.
Tourism characteristics
Chaoyang District belongs to temperate continental semi humid monsoon climate. Four distinct seasons and concentrated precipitation. In spring, it is dry and windy, with large temperature difference between day and night; in summer, it is hot and rainy; in autumn, it is sunny and rainy, with suitable temperature and sufficient light; in winter, it is cold and dry, with more wind and less snow. The best travel time is may, September and October.
