Important display
Guichuan charm Yanqing historical and cultural exhibition is one of the most important exhibitions in Yanqing Museum. Yanqing has a long history and rich cultural heritage. About 50000 to 60000 years ago, in the middle and late Paleolithic period, primitive people lived and multiplied in Yanqing. After that, Yanhuang fought in the field of Hanquan, and Shanrong people galloped in the mountains of Yanbei. In Yan, Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties, Shanggu County, Yiyu county and Ruzhou were set up in Yanqing area respectively; in Jin Dynasty, Ruzhou was changed into Jinshan County. In the Yuan Dynasty, Renzong was born in the perfume garden of Jinshan County, so Long Qingzhou was promoted to Jinshan County. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, it was longqingzhou, and Tun Bingmin repaired the Great Wall to defend the capital. In the first year of Longqing (1567), it was changed to Yanqing in order to avoid the name of Mu Zong. The Republic of China was renamed Yanqing county up to now. On the one hand, "Guichuan Charm - Yanqing historical and cultural exhibition" analyzes the main line of Yanqing's historical development in simple terms; on the other hand, it actively innovates and displays the archaeological findings that the academic circles pay close attention to. For example, the museum gives a large number of detailed explanations on Shanrong culture in Yanqing during the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period and the ancient cliff dwelling, a cultural site known as the "eternal mystery". The most representative cultural relics are meticulously displayed, accompanied by the projection of special documentaries or landscape display.
Shanrong culture

Shanrong is an ancient nomadic tribe living in the north of China, also known as Beirong. According to historical records, "in the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, there are Shanrong (Canrong) in the north of Yan," living by hunting animals "," moving with animal husbandry "," moving by water and grass "and" often suffering from the border of Yan and Qi ". It shows that Shanrong once dominated Yanbei in the spring and Autumn period, and often attacked and harassed Yan, Qi and other countries, which became the border trouble of these vassal states, especially the "sick Yan". In 664 B.C., Duke Huan of Qi saved Yan from cutting down Shanrong, destroying lingzhi and driving Guzhu. Only in this way could the threat of Shanrong to Yan be relieved. About the late Warring States period, Shanrong gradually disappeared.
From 1985 to 1991, archaeologists carried out large-scale archaeological excavations in Shanrong tribal cemeteries in Yanqing, including xianhulugou, Yuhuangmiao and xilianlong. 23200 pieces of gold, gold plating, bronze, pottery, jade, agate, pine stone, bone and mussel were unearthed, including more than 200 precious cultural relics. The large-scale excavation and Revelation of the tombs of Shanrong culture during the spring and Autumn Period in Yanqing area provides a precious material basis for the academia to understand the Shanrong tribe more clearly. In August 1991, Yanqing County established Shanrong culture exhibition hall to protect 10 tombs of Shanrong, which has been open up to now.
