brief introduction

The park covers a total area of 165606 square meters, and its main facilities include comprehensive gymnasium, Xinluo District gymnasium, small ball and heavy competition gymnasium, shooting gymnasium, fitness gymnasium, athlete apartment, national fitness center and provincial training base. It is a collection of sports competition, sports training, cultural entertainment, tourism and leisure

It is an open public theme park integrating trade and business exhibitions. The total investment is expected to be 280 million yuan.

Main place

（1） Gymnasium complex:

With a total construction area of 25404m2, the museum has 5100 seats (including 1010 activity seats). In order to reflect the momentum of the central building of the whole park, the main body of the gymnasium is set on the square platform on the second floor by referring to the traditional building's momentum building techniques. New materials are used to express its sense of the times. Today's international popular design and modeling language are used to create a single building image rich in personality and close to the society. At the same time, the eaves techniques of traditional Chinese architecture and the culture of "round sky and round place" are absorbed The gymnasium has a strong cultural atmosphere. The museum is equipped with central air conditioning, large electronic screen and large space fire water monitor, providing a comfortable environment for the audience to enjoy. The venue can be used for basketball, volleyball, handball, table tennis, badminton, gymnastics, trampoline and other sports competitions, as well as various artistic performance venues. Ancillary facilities can be used for Chinese chess, go, bridge, billiards and other sports competitions and training.

There are also news center, exhibition center, conference hall, VIP rest room, rest room for athletes and referees, doping testing room, etc.

（2） Xinluo District Museum:

The building area is 7630 m2. It can be used for basketball, volleyball training, gymnastics, trampoline competition and training.

The building area is 5928 square meters. There are 50m, 25m and 10m rifle and pistol ranges. It can be used for shooting competition and normal shooting training.

（4） Small ball heavy sports hall:

The building area is 20102 m2. For table tennis, badminton, Sanda, taekwondo, fencing and other sports training and competition.

There are 95 sets of training equipment of 15 kinds, such as spacewalk and comprehensive training equipment.

On one side of the sports park along the river, there are a large Memorial forest for the 13th Provincial Games, unique shaped film pulling and pavilions, winding paths leading to seclusion, stone tables and benches flickering in the green trees and flowers, creating a leisure environment. In front of the complex, there is a broad square. On the front of the square, there are stainless steel sculptures with a total height of 12 meters. The flaming torch shape highlights the sports purpose of "faster, higher and stronger". On the left and right sides of the square, there are cast copper sculptures, and figures of weightlifting and badminton with a total height of 3.5 meters, emphasizing the ideological connotation of sports and health in the sports park. As the night falls, the flowing light and shadow of LED lights, the folding springs and fountains of waterscape bring the rhythm to the dignified building structure.

Construction process

The sports park was approved by Longyan Development Planning Committee on April 19, 2003 with longjizong No. 142 document, and the land acquisition began in August 2003. Under the leadership of Longyan municipal Party committee and government, with the strong support of government departments and all walks of life, the first and second phases of the project have been put into operation in July 2006.

historical significance

The sports park has played a corresponding role in improving the grade of Longyan as a central city and enhancing the popularity of Longyan across the Taiwan Strait and the whole country.
