Yichi Street
Although Yichi street is called "Dajie", it is still a Hutong. Although it is the shortest Hutong in Beijing, it is not only one foot long, but about 30 meters long. Although the street is short, it is the epitome of the old Beijing Hutong, with obvious old Beijing cultural characteristics.
Yichi street is located in the west section of Yangmei Zhuxie street in Beijing. It is only about ten meters long. It is southeast of the east entrance of Liulichang East Street, east entrance of Tongzi Hutong and north entrance of cherry Hutong. This street is the shortest Hutong in Beijing from east to west. At that time, the three shops in the north of Hutong road were all lettering shops; the three shops in the south of Hutong road were: the wine vat in the west, the blacksmith shop in the middle, and the barber shop in the East, close to the north entrance of cherry Hutong. A Hutong, one foot street, ten meters long, with only six shops, was a miniature of Beijing Hutong.
