Mucheng park is the "core Park" and "start-up area" of Binjiang ecological park, with a planning area of 3800 Mu and a built-up area of 2600 mu, with a total investment of 1.38 billion yuan. It started construction in 2010 and officially opened in 2012. 1: The surface of 600 mu lake is like the sun and the moon
Enter the main entrance of Mucheng Park and walk past Minghu square, then you will see the rippling Minghu lake. Ming Lake occupies about one fifth of the area of Mucheng Park, about 600 mu. Ming Lake is divided into two parts by jiukong bridge. The north side of the lake is like the sun, and the south side is like the crescent moon. It looks like the capital word "Ming", which fits the meaning of "Ming Lake". It is understood that Ming Lake is also the emergency water source of our city, and its water storage capacity is enough for the public to use for half a year.
2: 70 mu wetland
There are many natural wetlands in the park. More than 30 kinds of aquatic plants, such as reed, lotus, scallion, water lily and zailihua, grow in the wetland landscape area. The wetland with a total area of more than 70 mu in the park is a "balancer" for maintaining the ecological environment, and plays an important role in providing water resources, regulating climate, conserving water resources, degrading pollutants, and protecting biodiversity.
3: Seven strange stones
Walking along the path in the garden, the Taihu Lake stones with their own characteristics are amazing. These stones are in various shapes, highlighting the uncanny workmanship of nature. In Mucheng Park, seven strange stones are distributed all over the park. The largest one is placed in Linjiang square, facing the Yangtze River. It is like a horse flying over the river, weighing more than 70 tons. It is understood that these stones were collected from Guangde County, Anhui Province.
4: More than 100 plants
Hibiscus mutabilis is gorgeous, zhongshanshan fir is tall and straight, Osmanthus fragrans is fragrant There are more than 100 kinds of plants in the park. 5: Sandy beach, cobblestone Beach
When you come to the Bank of Ming Lake, you can see two golden banded beaches and cobblestone beaches. The man-made sand beach is about 700 meters long, and the cobble beach is about 300 meters long. 6: Two large squares open to the atmosphere
Not far from the main entrance of the park is the open and grand Minghu square, with a total area of more than 10000 square meters. It has a sunken square with colorful and dynamic music fountains. The wooden porches, 70 tons of giant Taihu stone and hydrophilic platform on the square constitute a beautiful landscape. 7: The seven islands are like bright pearls
Looking down from the jiukong bridge, we can see that seven small islands of different sizes are distributed in the Ming Lake, just like bright pearls scattered in the lake.
