Shahu park is located in the central cultural area of Wuhan, which is the largest urban lake park in Wuhan. The total area of the park is 377 hectares (including waters), of which the land area is about 90 hectares (including islands). The park is divided into five functional areas: historical and cultural area, public leisure area, culture and art area, ecological wet area and sports forest area.
Shahu is also known as "Gedi Lake". Ren Tong, a member of Hubei Taoism in the late Qing Dynasty, loved the beauty of Shahu very much. He once called himself "Shahu Jushi" and nicknamed himself "Qinfu". Ren Tong, who grew up in the south of the Yangtze River and is well versed in garden art, built a modern amusement park by imitating the Grand View Garden in a dream of Red Mansions beside the Shahu Lake, and named it "Qin garden". Ren Tong's ambition to forget his love for mountains and rivers all his life is embodied in a book named "records of Shahu". Specifically, in the Qin garden, he also refined "Sixteen scenes of Shahu" for Shahu.
"The dialogue between classical and modern, the fusion of human and nature". In line with the goal of "inheriting and creating classics", the park creates an open urban park suitable for modern functions in the form of classical gardens.
The landscape structure of the park can be summarized as "one bridge, one dike, three pieces and ten sceneries". One bridge -- Shahu bridge; one dike -- like Hengqin dike lying in the middle of Shahu, divides the historical and cultural area into inner and outer lakes; three pieces -- divides the park into original, classical and modern style areas according to the functional needs; ten scenes -- creatively reappears ten scenes of the old "Shahu sixteen scenes", namely the new "Shahu ten scenes": Spring Pavilion Song Yun, qindi Shuiyue, Dongshan canjie Yanqiao autumn shadow, Lanling fragrant wind, Shibi Longqiu, Yanshan morning bell, Hanxi Yumeng, Shahu Fangpeng, oudao Yubo.
Shahu Park
Shahu Park, located behind Dingjia village in the east of Fengcheng City, Jiangxi Province, has been a scenic spot in Fengyi. The land and water area is 103300 square meters, and the lake is shimmering and vast. There is a small island in the center of the lake, also known as "cloud island". On the island, there are hundreds of flowers, pines and bamboos, green grass and quiet environment. Sheng wenruyong, a famous scholar of Song Dynasty, described in his poem "four sceneries of shengjiazhou", the scenery of "willows on the bank, birds singing, flowers drunk, spring breeze extraordinary, a section of fragrance with good things, boundless scenery full of courtyard".
Historical heritage
There are many ancient buildings in Shahu. As early as the Tang and Song Dynasties, there was an island in the Sand Lake, called Duzhou, or Xingdui. Around the island, there are "Pan Guan", "Wuhua Pavilion", yunqi Pavilion (Xiaqi Pavilion), Yicao Pavilion, "wenqingxuan", "Chishu Pavilion" (Huguang Academy), "shiting", "Yuxiu overlooking linlou", "Dengying bridge" and other buildings, which are scattered between pine and bamboo, with beautiful scenery. According to Ding's genealogy, a grass Pavilion is built on it, standing in the middle of the lake like a lotus. On the top of the garden, the pavilion is octagonal, covered with copper tiles and a short wall with inner tiles. On the top is a window, surrounded by a wooden fence and painted with red chalkiness. The plaque says: a grass Pavilion is just in the middle of the lake. From the east of Hubin to the west of Qiaoxi, climbing on the stone level. Southeast, Zhulan Huadong. Perched on the lake is yunqi Pavilion, with a small dike on its east side to connect Yunzhou. Outside is the lower lake, and in the middle is a tower rising above the clouds, which is the imperial Book Pavilion. Lianhu is several times wider than Shahu, with shengjiazhou and Yunzhou separated by a dike. To the west, there are old trees and dense residents. It is a place for scholars to give lectures and banquets. In the Song Dynasty, Sheng Wenru, a famous scholar, lived here to give lectures and founded academies. On the lakeside is the five Flower Pavilion, facing a grass Pavilion, covering an area of about 300 square meters. It is a place for officials to read and chant. In Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi visited Sheng Wenru three times, and wrote the poem "Fu Guo Sheng Jia Zhou", which called Shahu "ten thousand hectares of waves contain the universe". Ding Youjun of the Qing Dynasty wrote in his poem "a vast expanse of lake light", which said: "there is a lake in the east of Jianshui City, and the clear light is horizontal. The tide flows through the spring, the wind grows green, and the moon flows through the cold pool. Several gardens become islands, and I get a pot from the city. Yunzhou peach and plum year after year, more than a few anti painting Later, the ancient buildings in Shahu were in disrepair and gradually destroyed. In the period of the Republic of China, it became a desert island.

Inside the pavilion, there are colorful dragon and Phoenix paintings on the upper wall, caisson pictures of the opera group, and magnificent hall.
