Wudaoxia scenic spot is located in the north of Baokang County, which is composed of five Canyon sections. The gorge is about 5 kilometers long. The peaks and streams are connected in the gorge. Wudaoxia scenic spot is located in the north of Baokang County, 22 kilometers away from the county. The gorge is 7.5 km long and consists of five gorge sections. The gorge is about 5 kilometers long. The peaks and streams are connected in the gorge. The streams are clear and galloping all the year round. The mountains, forests, caves, waterfalls, water, sky, birds and animals, together with historical sites and folklore, form a natural picture of wonder, danger, majesty and seclusion.

With a total area of 1667 hectares, including 1335 hectares of primeval forest, it is the place where Bian he of Chu state got "heshibi" Yupu in the spring and Autumn period. In the scenic spot, the streams are winding and the rocks are falling; the green mountains on both sides are facing each other and the peaks are surging. Beautiful karst caves, graceful waterfalls and various shapes of strange rocks are scattered all over the world.

There are 8 karst caves represented by Xianren cave, 6 mountain villages represented by Longwang village and 8 waterfalls represented by shennv waterfall.

Famous scenic spots include Longwang village, Wolong cave, shennv waterfall, Xiangshui waterfall, Sunjia village, Longgong palace, xiannvyu hot spring, Yuyin waterfall, bawangfeng, hongjinjunfen, Xianrenyan and more than 100 other national AAAA scenic spots.

Main attractions

On the gate of Chu City building, there is a couplet with simple and powerful handwriting: "the village on the cliff, the horse on the cliff, the waterfall in the cave, the dragon in the cave". This is a true portrayal of Wudaoxia, which is extremely dangerous, majestic and plain.

"The stone contains jade and the water contains pearls and the river is beautiful", which is the praise of tourists from all over the province. This famous alpine gorge not only has beautiful mountains and waters, but also integrates natural scenery, folklore, mythology and cultural landscape. Moreover, the beautiful ecological environment in the gorge helps to improve the climate conditions. The average daily temperature in the gorge area is 19 ℃, warm in winter and cool in summer, and the four seasons are like spring.

The whole Wudaoxia scenic area is characterized by caves, forests, streams and waterfalls, and is characterized by wonder, danger, majesty and seclusion. It complements the rich cultural landscape and folklore. The clear and fast flowing stream is continuous throughout the year, and more than 10 waterfalls are magnificent. There are 8 karst caves represented by Foshou cave, 6 mountain villages represented by Sunjiazhai, 7 waterfalls represented by shennv waterfall, and more than 100 famous scenic spots such as baoyuyan, deyuchu, longwangzhai, Wolong cave, Foshou cave, Xiangshui cave, etc. There are more than 10 kinds of national rare plants, such as wild peony, wild Chimonanthus, Taxus, camphor, ginkgo, and more than 30 kinds of national protected animals, such as macaque and giant salamander.

Many friends who visited Wudaoxia summed up with deep feeling: "one gorge enters, two gorge enters painting, three gorge enters taste, four gorge enters victory, five gorge enters spirit!" In 2001, Wudaoxia scenic spot was rated as national AA scenic spot, and in 2004, it was rated as one of the top ten scenic spots in Xiangfan City.

The hot spring is located in Tangchi gorge, 12 kilometers away from Baokang County. The asphalt road runs through the whole line. Now, more than 10 springs have been found, with a daily flow of more than 10000 cubic meters and an average water temperature of 39.5 ℃. The water quality meets the requirements of the national standard for drinking natural mineral water, which belongs to natural high-quality mineral water and contains a variety of trace elements beneficial to human health. Drink this water often, it can promote metabolism and bone growth, and has the effect of cancer prevention and treatment. It has obvious therapeutic effect on cardiovascular disease, digestive tract disease, urinary system disease, hypertension, stomach disease and other diseases. Xianren cave, Longwang village, Xiangshui waterfall, Longguan hall, parking lot, main road and other scenic spots and facilities have been built. Kaimenxia

The first gorge of Wudaoxia is kaimenxia. More than 300 scenic spots have been named. There are cave caves with the essence of fairy cave. There are more than 100 famous scenic spots, such as Xianren rock, Baoyu rock, Xianren cave, Wolong cave, Xiangshui waterfall, shennu stream, etc. The natural scenery is beautiful, the humanities history is famous, the folklore is magical. The daily average temperature in the gorge area is about 19 ℃, warm in winter and cool in summer, and the highest temperature in summer is 23.5 ℃. It is an ideal resort for people to "return to nature" for summer, recuperation, scientific research and exploration.

Fairy Cave

Fairy Cave, also known as Python hole, is one of the essence of the five Gorge Scenic spot. The cave is deep and tortuous. There are many kinds of strange stones. Birds and animals are lifelike. Stalactites are hanging upside down in the air, tender and moist. There are some small scenic spots, such as Buddha's hand, jade's hand, golden silk waterfall, camel's love waterfall, turtle playing with dolphin, Huaguo Mountain, shuilian cave, Nantianmen, lotus hall, etc., which can be called art palaces. There is a legend about the name of the cave! It is said that a long time ago, there was a python in this cave. It was often poisonous, so the Buddha and Guanyin came down to strangle the python, which caused great harm to the people. In order to warn the people of all the evils, the Buddha and Guanyin left the Buddha's hands and jade hands on both sides of the cliff where they subdued the boa, and the BoA's tongue and teeth were also placed in the cave. It is said that as long as you hold the hands left by these two immortals, you will get the aura of Buddha and bless your life. So most of the tourists who come here will devoutly hold the hands of these two immortals, hoping to bring good luck.

Xiangshui waterfall

Xiangshui waterfall is named for its thunderous sound. Xiangshui waterfall is divided into two levels: the first level is a 40 meter long and 8 meter wide waterfall; the second level is a fan-shaped waterfall formed by the waterfall falling on the rock. The waterfall gushed out from the crevice of the rock, fell on the rock, splashed a group of spray, and then another water curtain, a group of spray, all the year round. Under normal circumstances, Xiangshui waterfall is clear and transparent. If backwater appears, it will rain heavily in two or three days. It is a wonder that local farmers can see the water color and predict the weather so as to arrange farming.

In the Xiangshui cave behind the Xiangshui waterfall, when the Yangtze River rises every year, a fish will gush out. It is said that this is because Xiangshui cave is connected with the Yangtze River. People call this kind of tender and delicious fish "spring fish" and this hole "spring fish hole".

It is said that once upon a time, there was an old woman near the mill village. She worked as a servant for many years and was often beaten and starved. One day, a guest came to the Yuanwai's house. The old woman stepped on the ice to wash the fish in the river. When a pair of passers-by saw the fat fish, they kicked the old woman to the ground and snatched the fish. She was allowed three days to compensate for 100 fish. She begged for no way to heaven and no way to worship the earth, so she had to watch the hole with frozen water to catch fish. It's freezing, no fish out of the hole, she sat in a dry hole under the village crying, villagers around her tears, people's tears flow into the dry hole. The next day, the mother-in-law came to catch fish again. When she came to gandongkou, water came out. Then, silver fish swam out of gandongkou and got into the soil. She planed one after another and produced a lot of fish. She not only lost 100 fish, but also sent a lot of them to the villagers. Knowing this, Yuanwai also wanted to dig out fish. Unexpectedly, the hole became a dry hole again. Yuanwai didn't give up and went into the hole to search for nothing. He continued to walk forward and heard the sound of running water. He saw groups of fish swimming around and wanted to catch fish, but a flood of water poured out and engulfed him. It turned out that the tears of the grandmother and the villagers communicated with the river and drowned the rich man.

Dragon Palace

Longgong palace is a natural open-air palace with an area of about 1000 square meters. It is surrounded by rocks on three sides and faces the canyon. The square rock is about 180 meters high, with a huge thousand story gate under it, which is called the main hall of the Dragon Palace. There is a stone cave on the top of the rock. The clear spring and waterfall are flying down in the air, forming a huge water curtain, which looks like a palace curtain and covers the main hall. It is said that in ancient times, there were countless treasures hidden in the thousand story gate, and there were two generals guarding the gate. On the hillside of the gorge, there lived a mother and a son. One day, his mother was seriously ill, but his son had no money to treat his mother. He was so sad that he burst into tears. The mother said to her son, "there are many treasures hidden in the qiancengmen in the gorge. As long as you find a golden bamboo of Shuangya on the mountain, you will find the key to open the door. Then you can plead with the second general of tortoise and snake and take some treasures. You can take care of your illness." The son went over the mountains to find the golden bamboo of Shuangya. He pleaded with the second general of tortoise and snake according to his mother's words. As expected, he opened the cave and got a little gold and silver that could cure his mother's disease. There was a greedy guy in the village who learned from him and opened the thousand storey gate, but he was greedy and wanted to take the treasure for himself, so he used this method to steal a lot of treasure one after another
