Hong Enyan is located in Guifeng mountain, Huqiu Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. Hongenyan scenic area has open terrain and quiet environment. Three streams converge in front of the rock temple, and the tiger, lion, elephant, Phoenix and Maitreya in the scenic area are in good shape, forming a beautiful scene of "lion and elephant at the mouth, immortal playing pipa, Phoenix meeting happily, Maitreya greeting guests with laughter".

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, from the day when the scenic spot is restored to operation to December 31, 2020, the preferential policy of free opening to medical workers across the country will be implemented.

Development history

According to legend, guifengyan was built in the Southern Song Dynasty, and hongenyan was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573-1619). The rock worships Xianying, Sakyamuni, Avalokitesvara and Xuantian God.

Hongenyan scenic spot in Huqiu town covers an area of 8 square kilometers. It is planned to be divided into three functional areas: Pilgrimage sightseeing, entertainment and vacation. There are 18 scenic spots, ecological forest demonstration area, oolong tea garden and subtropical Orchard for tourists to enjoy off-road. In 2009, the scenic spot received 351000 tourists, with a revenue of 1.66 million yuan.
