China Ceramic Museum

China Ceramic Museum is the first large ceramic art museum in China, formerly known as Jingdezhen Ceramic Museum. After relocation, it opened in Jingdezhen on October 18, 2015. The Museum covers an area of 55000 square meters and a building area of 32000 square meters. It is composed of permanent exhibition hall, temporary exhibition hall, academic exchange area, office area and multi-functional area. Museum exhibits 400 thousand China exhibits at all times and in all countries, the essence of ancient porcelain is collected from China.

Collection content

The China Ceramic Museum has a collection of more than 30000 pieces of famous ceramics from the Neolithic age and different historical periods since the Han and Tang Dynasties. Among them, there are more than 500 national precious cultural relics, including the representative works of Jingdezhen's Millennium porcelain history.

In terms of decoration, the museum's collection includes Yingqing, Qingbai glaze, ovalbumin glaze, blue and white, multicolored, pastel, colored glaze porcelain, etc.; in terms of modeling, it includes bowls, plates, cups, dishes, pots, bottles, cans, sculptures, etc.; in terms of technology, it includes broaching, printing, inlaying, grouting, machine pressing, etc.
