Huo Yingdong Memorial Hall

Huo Yingdong memorial hall is built to commemorate Mr. Huo Yingdong, who is known as "red capitalist". It is located in Yingdong Bioengineering College of Shaoguan University. In order to pass on Mr. Huo Yingdong's dedication of patriotism, love for hometown, love for family and love for education from generation to generation, under the strong request of teachers and students of Yingdong Bioengineering College, the school specially invited a master sculptor from Guangzhou Academy of fine arts to represent Huo Yingdong Yingdong bronze sculpture, and elaborate design and production of the "Huo Yingdong Memorial.".

Pacific Coliseum

Huo Yingdong Memorial Hall opened on November 29, 2008. Accompanied by leaders at all levels, Mr. Huo Zhenyu, Mr. Huo Yingdong's son, and Ms. Huo Lina, his daughter, opened the "Huo Yingdong Memorial Hall".

The museum displays precious group photos of Mr. Huo Yingdong and Chinese leaders of past dynasties, precious pictures of Mr. Huo Yingdong's donation to teaching assistants and other activities, relevant books and objects. In November 1999, Mr. Huo Yingdong personally wrote the four characters of "rejuvenating the country through science and education" and the gift words of "rejuvenating the country through science and technology and education" written by Mr. Huo Yingdong during the 40th anniversary of our school in 1998.

The whole memorial hall is divided into two parts: "expressing gratitude for Mr. Huo Yingdong's kindness" and "following Mr. Huo's instruction, the development of the college has achieved fruitful results". Among them, the memorial hall is featured by "serving the country with fists, paying close attention to the love of the child", "the red triangle with good fortune", "sending charcoal in the snow", "the dream of all parties come true", "the good virtue carries material and fuel from generation to generation" and "eight years of struggle" Twelve chapters, such as the flourishing of the college, the gathering of talents from all over the world with admiration for fame, the gratifying discipline construction relying on the local government, and the all-round development of the college, all show the touching deeds of Mr. Huo Yingdong's concern for the motherland and love for education to the guests in an all-round way. This paper records in detail the whole process of setting up Yingdong Bioengineering College in our university by Mr. Huo Yingdong, and a series of achievements made by Yingdong Bioengineering College under the inspiration of Mr. Huo Yingdong's spirit.
