Zhu Xi Memorial Hall
Zhu Xi memorial hall is a memorial hall with the theme of commemorating Zhu Xi, a famous Neo Confucianist in the Southern Song Dynasty. There are two memorial halls. They are Zhu Xi Memorial Hall in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province and Zhu Xi Memorial Hall in Wuyishan, Fujian Province. Zhu Xi, a famous Neo Confucianist in Song Dynasty, laid a solid foundation for the development of Chinese Neo Confucianism. The current curator of Jiangxi Zhuxi memorial hall is Mr. Zhu Zhenwu, the descendant of Zhuxi.
Zhu Xi Memorial Hall in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province
Zhuxi memorial hall is located in the Zhuzi Culture Park of Wengong mountain in Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, covering an area of 300 square meters. There are three exhibition rooms in the memorial hall. The first exhibition room mainly introduces Zhu Xi's life, works and influence on the past dynasties; the second exhibition room displays and introduces the relics and legends left by Zhu Xi's two visits to his hometown; the third exhibition room introduces Zhu Xi's Neo Confucianism, patriotism, agriculture based thought, etc.
Wuyuan is the hometown of Zhu Xi, a famous scholar in Song Dynasty. The completion of Zhu Xi Memorial Hall will play a positive role in promoting Zhu Xi culture.
Fujian Wuyishan Zhuxi Memorial Hall
Zhuxi memorial hall is located in the ancient street of Wuyi palace. Visiting Zhu Xi's memorial hall is the last stop of Zhu Xi's Neo Confucianism cultural route. It is also the finale of Zhu Xi's drama and a grand tour to understand Zhu Xi's Neo Confucianism culture. The memorial introduces Zhu Xi's life in words, pictures and objects, highlighting his extraordinary experience in Wuyishan from childhood education to middle age writing, and finally becoming a great Confucian in old age school running. It also describes the grand occasion of his theory connecting ancient and modern times and spreading abroad through pictures and words. For example, Korea's Tuixi society has now become an international academic institution for the study of zhuzixue. The exhibits include the portrait of Li (No. Tuixi), the founder of Tuixi, and his works by Gao Liwen, as well as the general situation of six international seminars on zhuzixue held during the 17 years from 1983 to 2000 (twice in Wuyishan), as well as a large number of different versions of Zhu Xili Learn great books. Also precious is the Chinese textbook of the Analects of Confucius in the Tokugawa Shogunate period.
The works of Modern Neo Confucian scholars, including the monograph of the United States, Japan, Korea and Europe and Australia, concentrate the essence of the works at home and abroad. In addition, there are a number of special editions which widely introduce the general situation of Zhu Xi's descendants who are active at home and abroad. Zhu Xi memorial hall has been built for 12 years, and has been highly valued by academic circles at home and abroad. It has received experts and scholars who attended the international Zhu Zi conference twice, received more than 500 inscriptions and couplets, and also received the queen of the Netherlands and other foreign leaders who are enthusiastic about Sinology. Li Lanqing, the central leader in charge of the state's cultural and educational work, paid two consecutive visits. Wu Yi, Deng Pufang and others were full of praise.
