It is located in the north boundary river of Shengci Town, Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province. It was built in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. At that time, there were dozens of temples with two plus chambers, with large patio in the middle, palace lanterns in series, magnificent hall, golden body of Buddha and constant incense. The ginkgo trees are surrounded by three or four people at the back of the temple, with a crown diameter of more than 10 meters. The ginkgo trees near the earth temple in the southeast corner of the temple are more than 30 meters high, which is a prosperous place along the Jingtai boundary river.

Puji'an is the Anti Japanese base of Jingjiang

Before liberation, puji'an had a certain scale of elementary school and Subei middle school. Ni haotang, former Deputy Secretary General of Jiangsu provincial government, was the principal of primary school in 1940. Wu Zhimin, Secretary of the county Party committee, and Liu Wanli, county magistrate, introduced him to the party. Ye Fan and Shi Youting, teachers of puji'an primary school, were members of the underground party and the backbone of the district government. Zhou Yinkui, a veteran party member and school worker, was an underground traffic officer. In April 1940, the second meeting of Jingjiang County Working Committee was held in puji'an primary school. It is determined that Liu Wanli will work in Jingzhong based on puji'an primary school, while Wu Zhimin will stay in puji'an primary school. In the spring of 1941, the county Party committee held a farmers' Congress in the school. At that time, puji'an belonged to Puzheng township of five districts. The county Party committee said: Puzheng township was the only township that our party could control during Jingjiang's secret work. The county Party committee first chose this township to establish an anti Japanese democratic government, and the office was located in puji'an primary school. After the victory of the decisive battle of Huangqiao, the county Party committee and the county government moved to jiangjiadai. Puji'an is not only the base of Jingjiang Anti Japanese revolution, but also the red cradle of Jingjiang revolution. The party organization and Subei middle school have cultivated a large number of outstanding cadres and anti Japanese backbone. After the new fourth army moved eastward, puji'an primary school was renamed Dongjin primary school, and the name of the village is Dongjin village until now.
