Hongze Lake Wetland Park
Hongze Lake Wetland Park, a national AAAA tourist attraction and China's top ten ecological leisure bases, is located in the scientific experimental area of Hongze Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve in Sihong, Jiangsu Province. Hongze Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve is the largest freshwater wetland nature reserve in Jiangsu Province, ranking 11th among inland freshwater wetlands in China and 2nd in East China. The main protected objects of the reserve are: inland freshwater wetland ecosystem, birds and other wildlife under state key protection, fish spawning ground and xiacaowan standard stratigraphic profile. There are 194 species of birds in the reserve, including Great Bustard, Oriental White Stork, black stork, Red Crowned Crane and so on. Hongze Lake Wetland Park is planned and designed by Nanjing University and Nanjing Forestry University. It is a tourist attraction integrating ecological leisure, sightseeing and popular science education, which is made full use of the resource advantages of Hongze Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve in Sihong County. Park Development

On April 5, 2006, Hongze Lake Wetland in Sihong County was approved as a national nature reserve by the State Council.
In November 2009, Hongze Lake Wetland Park in Sihong County was established as a national 4A scenic spot and passed the national acceptance.
In 2010, the scenic spot won the title of Suqian excellent scenic spot and provincial assured consumption demonstration unit.
