Shi Lang Memorial Hall

Shi Lang memorial hall is located in the west side of Shi's ancestral hall in Yakou village, Longhu Town, Jinjiang City, Fujian Province. It was the former residence of general Shi Lang, Jinghai Marquis's residence. It has five rooms, three entrances and double protective houses. It has a building area of 2650 square meters and 99 gates. It is a building material that can only be used in the Qing Dynasty when the southern Fujian building squares "brick into stone" and Gaofeng. In 2003, under the initiative of Jinjiang Municipal government, the local and overseas scholars donated 2 million yuan to repair the cultural relics according to the principle of "repairing the old as before", and set up a memorial hall for Shi Lang to commemorate the 320th anniversary of the unification of Taiwan by general Shi Lang and the Qing court. On the beach near Shenhuwan, Jinjiang Municipal government built a stone statue of general Shi Lang in granite, 16.83 meters high, symbolizing general Shi Lang's Keping in Taiwan in 1683. In 2006, Shi's ancestral hall and Jinghai Marquis's house were announced as national cultural relics protection units. In 2007, it was named Fujian national defense education base.

Architectural features

Lang memorial hall is a brick, wood and stone structure in Southern Fujian, with five bays and three entrances, more than 60 rooms. It has 5 first-class cultural relics, 13 second-class cultural relics, and 46 fourth-class cultural relics. Among them, the statue of Shi Lang's military uniform in Qing Dynasty was included in the grand ceremony of cultural relics of the Palace Museum, which further enriches the cultural relics resources of the memorial hall and increases its ornamental value. We collected five level 4 cultural relics from the society, added "Yidan stone" weighing 300-400 Jin for military training and examination in the Qing Dynasty, and accepted Hong Mingzhang, director of Taiwan compatriots Strait Culture Museum, as a gift of an official hat for martial arts performance in the Qing Dynasty. Nearly 10000 square meters of Shilang square is composed of 80 steles, all of which are under intense preparation.

Exhibition content

During the cultural exchange at home and abroad, the Memorial Hall Presented 27000 pages of color pictures, 3000 books of the biography of general Shi Lang, 1000 large format color photos of the naval commander Shi Lang (donated by Shi Yusen living in Japan), 6000 volumes of the first, second, third, fourth and fifth episodes of Shi Lang research, 200 sets of TV series of general Shi Lang, and 37 episodes of TV series of general Shi Lang There are nearly 300 sets of DVD (donated by Shi Nengshi, President of Yakou Association of Hong Kong), etc.

Shilang memorial hall, with five exhibition halls, more than 208 meters, is divided into eight series. It adopts traditional and modern photoelectric effect display, with 51 sets of dehumidification and fire prevention equipment. Cleaning and hygiene to further improve the quality. It is open 365 days a year and free of charge for more than 20 years.
