Walking into the middle gate of the temple, you can see a pair of couplets with black background and gold characters hanging on the door couplets: "there are two kinds of principles of yin and Yang, and good and evil depend on one thing." It tells the intention of the temple Builders: to govern the people and gods together, to promote the good and punish the evil; it also tells the tenet of Chinese Taoism, which is born and bred in China, to be prosperous forever.

Go further to the third hall. On the left and right side of the hall, there are two large glass niches, in which there are statues of twenty-four officials in two layers, with the same shape as people. The niches are marked with the following words: Zhang Shansi, punish evil Si, Ford Si, financial Si, Li Bu Si and Bao Fang Si. "Si" is an official in charge of a certain cause. These twenty-four divisions are the ruling organs of the divine world and the underworld. On the right central corridor of the hall, there is also a thousand mile horse and a horse master who holds a whip high in front of the horse and wears the court uniform of Ming and Qing Dynasties. He is in charge of the BMW used by the gods to investigate the case on business, screen out the right and wrong, and arrest the criminals. He also warns the criminals who have fled away: "it's hard to escape the law!".
Stepping into the fourth hall is the temple of heaven, where the Jade Emperor is worshipped. "Taoist immortal Grand View" says that "he is in charge of gods, the supreme god controlling natural changes such as sun, moon, wind and rain, and the fate of human life such as misfortune and fortune, life and death, longevity and death, good and bad luck."
Entering the fifth hall is the main hall of Shishi Town God's Temple. The main hall worships the city god of the stone lion who was granted the title of Zhongyou marquis. The largest one is the City God sitting in the hall, and the smaller one in front is the City God for chariot. There are red judges on the right and black judges on the left in front of the hall. The first hall on the right worships the two kings of the land, the second Hall on the right worships the lady of the City God, the first hall on the left worships Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the second Hall on the left worships Kaishan hall for seven generations.
