Yaze lake is located in Kanas Scenic Area. It is composed of niuhehu depression, an abandoned section of Kanas River after diversion. It is shaped like a butterfly. Yaze lake is open and gentle, and the lake looks like a mirror. In summer, flocks of wild ducks and geese roam and breed in the lake area. Slightly frightened, you can see them flying in groups, wings flapping the water, very spectacular. There are lots of cattle and sheep, white Mongolian yurts and smoke curling in front of the tent. It is a natural giant landscape painting with green mountains and white clouds.
On the grassland highland to the northwest of Yaze lake near the river, there is a stone heap, which is "Oboo". Tuwa people regularly carry out sacrificial activities and celebrate "Oboo Festival" here every year to pray for the prosperity of six animals and the safety of their families.
Yaze Lake
Yaze lake is located in the south of Kanas village in the Mongolian township of hemukanas. It is composed of niuhehu depression, an abandoned section of Kanas River after diversion. It is long butterfly shaped. Along the south end of the depression, a north-south wide shallow lake is formed. The butterfly shaped yihongbi water is connected with swamp wet land, covering an area of about 1.3 square kilometers.

Yaze lake is located in the Kanas Lake Scenic Area of Xinjiang burjin county. It is located in the south of the transfer center of the scenic area, by the Kanas River, 142 km south of the county.
Yaze lake is 1km away from Kanas Tuwa village, adjacent to Kanas River in the West and surrounded by dense forest. Asphalt and gravel roads are connected. At an altitude of 1350 meters, the lake is in a long butterfly shape. Along the south end of the depression, a north-south wide shallow lake is formed. The lake covers an area of 13000 square meters, 3 kilometers long and 600-800 meters wide. The lake is open and gentle. The lake looks like a mirror. In summer, there are groups of wild ducks and geese in the lake area.
Wild ducks flock together
There are many kinds of birds in the lake and the surrounding open marshes, wetlands and river valley grasslands. Flocks of wild ducks, geese and swans often visit this place. They swim on the quiet water. When the wild ducks are disturbed, they will be seen flying one by one, one by one, with their wings flapping on the water, which is very spectacular. On the vast marsh grassland, cattle and sheep are swimming The white Mongolian yurts are dotted with food. The cooking smoke curls on the stove in front of the tent. It forms a natural giant landscape painting with green mountains and white clouds, which is pleasing to the eye.

The lake covers an area of 1.3m2, 3km in length and 600-800m in width. It is open and gentle around the lake. The lake looks like a mirror. In summer, there are groups of wild ducks and geese swimming in the lake area. Around and to the north of the lake, there are marshy grassland and extensive grassland. The green grassland surrounds the mirror like lake water, which is quiet and beautiful. On the grassland highland to the northwest of Yaze lake, there is a stone pile called "OBO". Tuwa people regularly carry out sacrificial activities and celebrate "OBO Festival" here every year to pray for the prosperity of six animals and the safety of their families. In addition to the traditional Mongolian OBO Festival, Tuwa people also celebrated the local zoulu Festival (Winter Festival). They believed in Tibetan Buddhism, but primitive Shamanism also had a deep influence on them. Religious activities such as offering sacrifices to heaven, lake, mountain, fish and fire were held every year. We can feel the life breath of Mongolian Tuwa people strongly.
In addition, a grassland platform 2km to the north of Yaze lake is Genghis Khan's "Dianjiang platform". Next to it is a huge boulder. It is said that Genghis Khan stood on the boulder to inspect the Mongolian masters. On the grassland near dianjiangtai, we can still see nearly 100 round patterns piled up with pebbles, which may be the remains left by Genghis Khan's army. In recent years, on the site of dianjiangtai, exquisite copper armor and special tool boxes for ancient troops have been excavated one after another. In the archives of Buerjin County, there is still an official seal weighing about 4.5 kg, which was used by zuosak, the left wing banner of wulianghai at that time.
