Yuzun Palace
Yuzun palace, located in Zhuli village, Tianbao Town, Zhangzhou City, is an ancient temple built in the Tang Dynasty. In history, it changed its name four times and migrated twice. The incense spread to Taiwan and Southeast Asia. It is the ancestral temple of Yuzun palace in Taiwan.
In 1999, the Management Committee of Yuzun palace in Caohu, Ilan, Taiwan donated more than 6 million yuan for reconstruction. The newly built Yuzun palace covers an area of 10 mu, with a construction area of more than 300 square meters. The five sacred pavilions in Yuzun Palace are all made of sandalwood group sculptures. There are more than 20000 kinds of flowers, plants, trees, birds and animals. The sculptures are various in shape and different in image. The two ancient stone pillars of Panlong in the palace are relics left over from the Tang Dynasty and have a history of more than 1000 years. On both sides of the entrance of the palace are two stone unicorns and two stone pillars There are only stone elephants and two stone drums; the top of the triple temple is covered with glazed tiles, and the middle beams and eaves are carved and cut with porcelain pieces. All kinds of animal models are colorful and lifelike. The stone, wood and porcelain buildings of the whole palace have high artistic appreciation value.
