Nan-juang-shiang

Nanzhuang township is named after Nanzhuang, the largest settlement in the township. Nanzhuang settlement was named Nanzhuang in ancient times because it was located in the south of tianweizhuang (today's Tianmei Village), which was developed earlier. It was renamed Nanzhuang during the Japanese rule period and Nanzhuang Township after World War II. Different from other townships, after World War II, the "street" in the Japanese Administrative region was changed to town, and "Zhuang" was changed to township. For example, Toufen street was changed to Toufen Town, and gongguanzhuang was changed to Gongguan township. However, Nanzhuang has only two characters, so it is difficult to understand It was changed to Nanxiang for a short time, and soon retained the word Zhuang and became Nanzhuang township.

124 County Road and Fengmei Industrial Road (Miao 21 Township Road) run through the whole Nanzhuang Township, which is the main tourist route. Tourists can enter from Toufen or Shitan. County Road 124 runs along Zhonggang River and Nanhe River Valley. Surrounded by peaks, it is shrouded by mountains and haze all the year round. Under the valley, there are low river terraces, overflowing with fresh air. Near the mountain, the bamboo grove of Guangxi is continuous, long and uniform, which is the most characteristic scenery of Nanzhuang. In the four seasons, cherry trees, tung trees and wild ginger flowers present different looks. Houses and countryside are scattered among them, forming a quiet village scenery. Along the road, the most eye-catching ones are the scattered "mountain villa" and "farm". On the signboards, they are all known as "mountain rainbow trout" and "Guizhu" feast. In addition, leisure projects such as catching shrimps with clams, camping barbecue, and vacation wooden house call on tourists to taste fresh food and spend their holidays.
