Liu Yuxi, a famous poet of the Tang Dynasty, lived as the governor of Hezhou (now Hexian county) because of his poem "humble chamber inscription". Most of the visitors came to visit Liu Yuxi's masterpiece. "Humble chamber inscription" comes from volume 68 of the whole Tang Dynasty. "Ming" is a kind of writing that was carved on utensils in ancient times to warn oneself or describe merits and virtues, and later developed into a style. According to records, since the Tang Dynasty, the Ming and Qing dynasties have carried out expansion and reconstruction of shabby rooms. In 1986, the shabby rooms were repaired with funds from Anhui Province and He county. The word "humble room" in the gate is written by contemporary poet Zang Kejia. "Humble chamber inscription" was engraved by Meng Fanqing, a provincial calligrapher. There is a standing statue of Liu Yuxi in the main hall of the shabby room, with a horizontal plaque of "promoting the virtuous in politics". In the same year, Shanshi was approved by the provincial people's government as a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level. In 1988, Hexian county invested nearly one million yuan to expand into a "humble room garden" in the area of "Xianshan" and "Longchi". The whole garden covers an area of more than 50 mu. There are Jiangshan Pavilion, Wangjiang Pavilion and Xianren cave on the mountain. There are Linliu Pavilion and Luxian bridge in the pool. It is surrounded by a 300 meter carved wall, with the main gate facing north and a memorial archway. In 2008, Hexian County spent tens of millions of yuan to renovate Liu Yuxi's former residence, expanding and renovating the dilapidated dilapidated dilapidated room as a whole, creating a new "dilapidated room garden".
