Introduction
In the west of Shijiagou village, Zaoling Township, Xiangning County, there was Tianshun coal mine, which was later renamed Laojunmiao coal mine. There used to be Laojun Temple beside the mine. I don't know where it was founded. After the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, there was a temple fair every year on February 15 of the lunar calendar, which was hosted by Taoist priests. Local villagers, especially the coal mine owners, believed in Taoism. They came here every year to worship Laojun and pray for the safety of the mine, the prosperity of the business and the well-being of their families. Later, because of the great changes, the coal mine moved, and the original temple and temple fair disappeared. There are remains of two stone temples in the old mine site. There is a shrine of Laojun at the entrance of the mine. The "bell before Laojun God" cast by the kiln households of Tianshun Cheng kiln in 1849 still exists. It is engraved with the inscription "bell before Laojun kiln's God of fire, God of mountain and God of land", which weighs more than 200 Jin.
In the spring of 2005, Shijiagou village committee invested more than 6.8 million yuan to resume the development of Laojun Temple scenic spot. It took three years to fill the ditch on the East Bank of the Yellow River to make more than 30 mu of land. According to the original system, the Laojun temple and Taiqing garden were rebuilt. On the one hand, it carried forward the traditional culture; on the other hand, it developed tourism to cultivate a new economic growth point for the local area.
Laojun Temple scenic area has a green area of more than 20000 square meters, covered by green trees, shrouded by clouds, dense landscape and beautiful air.

To the north of the square, 24 stone steps will be built, leading to Laojun temple. The stone steps are carved with blue stone, and stone railings are erected on both sides. The stone steps are divided into two steps: the first step is thirteen, and the second step is nine. It means thirteen months a year (plus leap moon). The nine sky is thirteen layers, and the nine five is the highest. Taking the stone steps as the axis, the Laojun Temple series of buildings are arranged on both sides in an orderly manner, showing the characteristics of Taoist architecture with "symmetrical axis and balanced two wings".

When you ring the bell, you should read Zhong Wen: "when you hear the bell, worship Lao Jun, leave the hell, go out of the fire pit, and be willing to become Tao and spend all living beings." Today, people pay homage to Laojun, ring the bell and beat the drum, or pray for the blessing of the gods, or thank the gods for their wishes, or cultivate their sentiment and temperament.
