Chen Huaiai Art Museum

Chen Huaiai art museum is located on the Bank of the beautiful Minjiang River. The Zhenghe square of Changle tourism corridor faces the Minjiang River, and it is in perfect harmony with the statue of Zhenghe. On the top of the entrance of the art museum is the plaque of "Chen Huaiai art life exhibition", which was written by Chen Kaige for his father. The whole museum was designed by Hu Xiaobing, a Fujianese who participated in the design of Shanghai World Expo.

There is a detailed introduction of Chen Huaiai's life in the art museum. There are also nearly 200 photos of Chen Huaiai with his family and friends, and precious historical materials such as the utensils used by Chen Huaiai during his lifetime. The exhibition shows the magnificent life of the late famous director of Changyue through four sections: "hometown feelings", "song of youth", "double happiness of virtue and art" and "spiritual relay". There is also a movie hall in the museum to show some classic films directed by Chen Huaiai and Chen Kaige. It is an important window for people to get to know this famous director in Chinese film industry.
