The centre has received a donation of HK $69.4 million from the Hong Kong Jockey Club charitable trust and a grant with a ceiling of $25 million to finance the renovation and modification of the building and part of the start-up costs. P T architects and engineers Ltd. is the architectural consultant of the renovation and modification project, while MdfA Architects Ltd. is responsible for interior design.

The small unit area ranges from 291 to 385 square feet, the medium unit area ranges from 483 to 804 square feet, the large unit area ranges from 874 to 1040 square feet, and the largest unit area ranges from 1298 to 1, It is 326 square feet, with three art galleries and one experimental theater, restaurants, art gallery boutique and other shops.
