Milk sea (erongcuo)

Located at the foot of Yangmai Yongshen mountain, the milk sea is an ancient glacial lake with a small area and water drop shape.

It is surrounded by snow mountains, clear blue lake, and milky white lake, so it is called milk sea.

The depth of the lake is different. The nearshore is slightly black due to the precipitation of plants at the bottom of the lake for a long time. The deeper the lake is, the bluer it is.

Standing here, looking back at the three sacred mountains, we can see that they are very close to each other. The clouds and fog are rising on the mountains, and the grass is barren and the gravel is everywhere.

It is about 4.5 km from Luorong cattle farm to milk sea. There is no battery car in the scenic area. It takes about 2-3 hours to ride back and forth and about 5 hours to walk.

You need to get to Yading scenic spot first. You need to charter a bus from Daocheng County to Yading scenic spot, and you can only get to riwa township. You need to change the bus from riwa to Yading village. It takes about an hour and a half from Daocheng to riwa, and about an hour and a half from riwa to Yading village. The round-trip fare from Daocheng to riwa is 400-700 yuan / car, and the average person is about 50 yuan for carpooling

Internal transportation

Then go on foot or on horseback from Luorong cattle farm (it costs 300 yuan to go back and forth on horseback, and takes about 3 hours). The number of horses is limited, so it is recommended to book in advance
