Linyi International Sculpture Park
Linyi International Sculpture Park is located in Beicheng New District, Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is surrounded by the river on three sides. On its east side is the sunshine beach, and on its south side is the commercial bar street and the sightseeing TV Tower.
Linyi International Sculpture Park covers an area of about 800 mu, with a greening rate of 95%,
It is composed of five areas: Beach sculpture area, primary and secondary entrance area, theme sculpture park, green area of under forest square and animal stadium area. There are 102 world-famous sculptures, all of which are copies of world-famous sculptures. The park integrates the world famous sculpture with the ecological environment by combining water system, slope forest and free path.
On September 8, 2010, Linyi International Sculpture Park officially opened.
Xinyuan District
According to the spatial structure of the park, the Central Park is divided into two areas: "central Sculpture Park" which focuses on appreciation and "L-shaped strip Sculpture Park" which focuses on participation. According to the nature and characteristics of sculpture, "central Sculpture Park" is divided into six theme sculpture areas: peace theme sculpture area, famous master sculpture area, Olympic theme sculpture area, love and family theme sculpture area, modern abstract theme sculpture area and famous city logo sculpture area. According to the spatial structure, "L-shaped strip Sculpture Park" is divided into: forest leisure area, beach theme area, entrance area and sculpture garden. The selected sculptures are mainly world-famous sculptures with strong interest and participation.
Design Essentials:
Sculpture Park, from the proposition of understanding, is a place to display sculpture, through the environment foil sculpture, on the one hand, bring people sensory enjoyment, on the other hand, form the interaction between people and sculpture. As a city park, it has to face a series of problems of people and environment in this era. On the one hand, it is an ecological problem, on the other hand, it is a humanized problem. Therefore, art, ecology and humanity are the three basic propositions to be solved in this project. We understand design as a process of expressing and balancing the relationship between the three.
The three have different starting points. From the ecological point of view, what nature knows is the best, the least use of resources, the least artificial intervention and the use of natural work are the starting points of ecology; from the perspective of human nature, people always try to get more sensory experience and convenience in a specific environment, so they tend to have more artificial intervention; from the perspective of art, people always try to get more sensory experience and convenience From the point of view of art, the expression of art originates from the organization of language. Both complex art language and minimalist art language can produce beauty. It originates from the integrity and integrity of its language. From the perspective of ecology, art tends to be a simple art form. From the perspective of human nature, the requirement of art is beauty, no matter complex or simple.
To deal with the relationship between the three, first of all, the problem of more and less should be treated discriminatively. For example, artificial places tend to be less involved in the overall structure, that is, the space on the plane will be reduced to the minimum. The complexity and simplicity of the place itself are related to humanization and artistic expression. In the given space, enriching people's experience is the direction of design, and artistic expression is mainly related to form Off.
This scheme uses the way of rhythm control to solve this problem, through the composition, layout of key experience points, and then use the line to connect different points, to achieve continuity and integrity. At the same time, give full play to the role of point, point is the place, enrich the space of the established place, make it bring people rich experience.
The overall layout of the project includes central park and L-shaped belt park. In the central area of the park, a curved path and corridor bridge are used to string up six "lantern" theme sites. One curve plus six points solves the problems of participation in the Central Park and artistic expression. Curved bridge uses minimalism, starting from the most basic structure, to meet the needs of safety; while the design of dot shaped "lantern" tends to be rich, in order to increase the charm of experience, the shape of "lantern" and light as the media of artistic expression. The L-shaped strip park also makes use of point line surface dialogue. Because it is close to the beach, the place is strengthened and combined with participatory sculpture, making it an active public space.
Ecology, human nature and art rub against each other, compromise with each other, and eventually penetrate into each other. We can't achieve ecological fundamentalism. At the same time, we can't start from the perspective of human nature without considering the problems of ecology and sustainability. The expression of art must take both into account and swim between complexity and simplicity.
What is the common orientation of the three? What does design create in the end? Is the ultimate creation of design endued with eternity in the consistent history? Or change in a sustainable context?
Does the space we create follow the principle of "what nature knows is the best", let nature do its work and fully endow it with changes, or is it the subject of eternal expression? We should also treat this issue discriminatively. We understand the final problem as the problem of materials, in a broad sense, that is, the problem of resources. Looking back at the creation of great space and the remains of civilization in human history, most of them are in line with Vitruvius's three principles of "firmness, applicability and beauty". People pursue permanent architecture and landscape.
Contemporary landscape, or the great change of modern landscape compared with traditional landscape, is the variability of modern landscape, which is permanent, solid and durable. It is no longer the core of design. This is due to the convenience of new material acquisition and the improvement of construction technology. The characteristics of materials with original strength are abandoned or covered. In this project, the primitiveness of materials is the core of expression. The processing links of materials should be reduced as far as possible, and the materials should be taken locally or nearby. For plants, maintaining the natural growth state of plants is the core of design, that is, low maintenance, so "beauty of weeds" is one of the orientations, but more is the use of secondary forests with free growth and strong self selectivity. The contrast between the original state of materials and free-growing plants exists in many places, such as the contrast between the stone array and the wild grass in the entrance square, the contrast between the local perennial plants and the rusty steel flowerpot in the square under the forest, the contrast between the fair faced concrete and the miscellaneous shrubs, etc., all embody the primitive and wild power, as well as the expression of vitality.
General layout of the park
The park is located in the central area of the new urban area, surrounded by the river on three sides, with the beach in the West and commercial bar street and TV Tower in the south. Therefore, the L-shaped belt park is designed along the periphery of the park, and the inner park is the Central Park. The L-shaped strip park is mainly a sculpture participation area under the forest, which is a highly participatory and active public space, composed of a series of theme parks, point buildings and green space under the forest. The central park takes the nature and ecology as the design core, and is composed of slope land, wetland, water system, a series of point theme space and a corridor bridge running through the park.
Central Park
The Central Park is the main exhibition area of sculpture. The environment also exists as the background of sculpture. The transportation and vertical system also revolve around sculpture. There are two main lines passing through the Central Park, one is the curve path and corridor bridge, and the other is the wetland water system. The terrain of the Central Park is lower than the urban trunk road, surrounded by rivers on three sides, and there is a built sewage treatment plant in the park, so water has become an important environmental factor.
The environment of the central park takes nature as the theme, and the exhibition of sculptures is divided into different theme parks, so the plane of the park adopts a cellular layout, which is conducive to the function of the curved road network. The main road network and the corridor bridge passing through the park are in the center of the curved road network, and are connected with six lantern venues. Each theme park has a denominator Park and a sub Park, which are surrounded by dense forests Open space, as the background of sculpture exhibition.
Wetland system
The wetland system is closely connected with the sewage treatment plant. The treated water discharged up to the standard in the sewage treatment plant is first introduced into the wetland system of the park. Through the purification of ecological pool and wetland bubble, it flows into the central water area of the park, and finally flows into the nearby Liuqing river through the wetland bubble. The overall sinking of the wetland system also increases the terrain effect of the sculpture park. At the same time, the wetland system is the rainwater collection and purification system of the whole park.
Gallery bridge
As the main artificial construction of the whole Central Park, the use of the corridor bridge comes from the convenient passing through the dense forest of the whole park, so that people can have a good grasp of the whole site in space. At the same time, together with lanterns, it brings people rich space experience. The form of the corridor bridge is simplified, using H steel as support, using simple flat steel as railings, starting from the structure, removing the decoration, the deck is paved with orange plastic, and the red railings form a strong contrast with the green environment.
lantern
Lantern is a reminder of the six theme parks. It also serves as the entrance and exit of the curved bridge. It makes full use of different materials to create changing light. Stone, steel and glass are the three main materials. In addition to lighting effects, viewing effects in daylight and natural light are also carefully designed.
L-shaped belt park
Entrance area:
The stone array in the platform square forms the sculpture space, and the vigorous local plants are planted in the stone array, which forms a strong contrast with the modern elements in the site.
Sculpture area under the forest:
The sculpture area under the forest is located in the broad zone of the belt park. A path under the forest connects a series of highly participatory theme sculptures. The plant base of the sculpture area under the forest adopts brocade method, and uses a variety of local herbs
