Shanhu temple in Yuyao is located in Nanlei village, Lubu town. It was first built in Ming Dynasty. It was the place where Xie Qian, a famous Minister of Ming Dynasty, studied. Wang Yangming and Huang Lizhou also visited and lectured here. It was rebuilt in 1871. The existing pattern is foyer, hatchback, stage, main hall and lotus pond (Shanhu) in front of foyer. The pattern is complete and the style is acceptable. In December 1998, it was announced as Yuyao cultural relics protection site.
